So I'm currently still playing along with my FM18 save with York City (being at uni means I don't have as much time to play as I wish, and I'm too attached to this save to leave before I get them to the CL), and I have a brilliant young striker who is out of contract at his parent club Arsenal in the summer. Is there anything I could look at to give an indication of he is likely to sign a new contract with them before I can try and negotiate a pre-contract agreement with him? Or is it best to not risk it and just try and see if Arsenal are willing to agree a cheap transfer deal so they get something for him?
