Custom Database Problems - Game Database failures + saves corrupting

I've been working on a custom database for over a year now, but I can no longer start a game with 'Add Players To Playable Teams' enabled. When I start a game without it, the save usually crash dumps at some point in season 1, with random dates become points where the save no longer progresses and crash dumps. This is clearly a problem with the database, and I was wondering how I could fix this? A crash dump for starting a game with 'Add Players...' is attached.
