derr12 Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Not sure how this can be addressed, at the moment my game wont launch, but before it died in the last update i had a situation where i had over 10m in cap space when drew dougtry came available. Set him as a key player and the ownership would only let me pay him 8.5m a year, he was commanding 10. I had a player budget of 85m and only using 55m or so. How does ownership get so tight assed when a guy like that comes along in free agency? Ive seen them not approve higher salery amounts when ive been up against the cap before, but never like this, Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The board would have to be out of thier minds to ****-block a signing like stamkos in 2017 or doughtry in 2018 if its within the budget. should be as easy as having enough player budget and cap to sign him no?
