So the Swedish Kvalserien has changed for this season to this format: The winner of kvalserien and the second placed team faces eachother in a best of 5 games called AllsvenskaFinalen. Winner gets promoted. The looser will go to the Playoff for SHL. Teams placed between place 3-8 (team placed at third position enters the serie with 3p, the team on the forth position enters the serie with 2p and the team placed on fifth position enters the serie with 1p. The other teams enters with 0 points.) faces eachother in a single match serie called ****spelsserien (every team against eachother one time) and the top 3 moves on to playoff for SHL. The looser of the AllsvenskaFinalen will face the winner of the ****sspelserie. (Best of 7) The second placed team from ****spelsserien will face the team that ended at 12 position in SHL. (Best of 7) The thrid placed team from ****spelsserien will face the team that ended at 11 position in SHL. (Best of 7) And from the 15/16 season this will be the structure for geting promoted to SHL. Team 1 and 2 from HockeyAllsvenskan will faces eachother in a best of 5 game (AllsvenskaFinalen). The winner will go to the Direktkval to SHL. Teams 3-8 will face eachother in a single match serie (****spelsserien). (Team 3 enters with 3p, team 4 enters with 2p and team 5 enters with 1p). The winner of the serie will face the looser of the AllsvenskaFinalen in a best of 3 game. The winner goes to Direktkval to SEHL. -----> The winner from the AllsvenskaFinalen will face the team that came on 14 position in SHL. (Best of 7) The winner of the best 3 game serie between the looser of AllsvenskaFinalen and the Winner of the ****spelserien will face the team that came on 13 position in SHL. (Best of 7) -----> How the playoff will be in SHL from the 15/16 season. Team 1-6 will qualify to the Quaterfinals. Team 7 will face team 10, team 8 will face team 9. In a short best of 3 games. Winners will go to quaterfinals. Team 11 and 12 are done for the season. Team 13 and 14 will have to try to qualify to SHL in a best of 7 game serie. ------> SHL will play 52 games (4 times agianst each team) I know the consept is crazy but true...
