This thread will contain all the pertinent infomation with regards to the skinning and graphics aspects of FM 13. Obviously a lot of the guide threads will contain out of date information so if anything has changed we will post it here first.

Resource Archive Tool

There isn't a resource archive tool included with the FM2013 demo however the Resource Tool from FM2012 works fine for FM2013 so you can carry on using that until the FM2013 one is relased.

How to Download the Resource Archiver Tool

You need to download it separately through Steam, however the FM2013 one isn't available yet so you will need to use the FM2012 one. It can be found in the Tools section within Steam. To get to it do the following;

Open Steam -> Library -> All Games -> Tools -> Football Manager 2012 Resource Archiver. And then Install”.

The initial run may require to install direct X files.

What old graphics can I use in FM2012

Most old graphics from FM2012 should work in FM2013 the only exceptions so far being:

- Skins.

- 3D kits orignially made for FM2010.

Football Manager Classic Mode

FM13 has introduced a new mode called Football Manager Classic (or FMC for short), from a skinning point of view the only difference seems to be it uses a different skin, and that FMC skins aren't natively supported in Full FM13 and normal FM13 skins aren't natively supported in FMC mode.

The installing of kits and logos etc... are done in the normal/same way regardless of whether you are playing FM13 or FMC13.
