  1. @Cleon - Great work once again! What's the best way to be notified of when you release the next stages of your project? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this forum!
  2. Hi Cleon. I think my query slipped under the radar due to the popularity of this thread and due to the large number of questions you've had to answer. It would be much appreciated if you could answer my question #50 when you have a moment. Again, keep up the good work. Cheers, Caddick7
  3. Hi Cleon, Congrats on the great work. Defensive football I feel is the most satisfying way to play FM, there is no other feeling than frustrating your opponent and then nicking a goal in the dying seconds. My question for you is simple and hopefully something I haven't missed. You stated you chose the narrow 4-1-2-1-2 for a challenge as it would cause issues down your wings. So bearing in mind you've passed that challenge with flying colours, if you could choose ANY formation for a defensive set up, which would it be and how would you look to implement it? (Roles, Strategy etc). And also, was the 4-1-2-1-2 picked after you had tried a few other formations too? If so, what were the strengths and weaknesses of other formations you tried out? Cheers, Caddick7
  4. Funnily enough AngryDad this is how I've set my Cheltenham team to play. Being a Stoke City fan, I enjoyed watching Pulis teams give the Tiki-Taka teams a hiding, so i've employed a tactic that involves a very high tempo/direct, get stuck in, hassle opposition and the use of a big lad up front to batter centre backs. My team easily racks up the most cards and fouls throughout the season however we're sitting joint 2nd with 4 games to go, having been tipped to finish 19th. I admire your persistence with this save and I'm sure soon enough you'll be able to put your spin on your team and it'll feel very satisfying and you'll soon be enjoying FM again. All the best with your challenge, I really hope you manage to get your old Wimbledon style working and set up in a thread on here. Caddick7
  5. If playing in the lower leagues, Scott Wagstaff is an absolutely quality defensive winger. Played him as an Defensive Winger (A) on the right side of a 4-1-2-2-1 and he scored 15+ goals and 10+ assists to. Linked up really well with the fullback behind him.
