Long time lurker here
Bought FM2022 and loaded all UK started with no rep and unemployed,
Could not get a job anywhere even Cowdenbeath knocked me back, however end of Jan first season Farsley Celtic came calling lying bottom of the VNL North. Team had some big earners in relation to rest of league £350, £600 a week and were all vets with no sale value. Anyhow could not change the clubs fortunes and on the last day of the season i secured survival by a point finishing second bottom. I was 3K over wage budget and 300k in the red. On the 30th June i released all but 3 of the senior first team. The rebuild was to begin.
Then it happened
In all my years playing FM i have never had this happen to me, so for an FM fan this is going to be exciting, hope i don't get sacked. If anyone wants the save file give me a shout All England and Scotland with large database 19k. No editor allowed.
Going to make for an interesting save...

Best tactic i have used bar none.
Started unemployed with a national A qualification and sunday league footballer.
Was after Bolton job i waited and applied twice season 1, finally got it at third attempt with 4 games to go at end of season, ruthless board sacked managers 3 times
big challenge no money, no wages, Board threateniing to sack you if team falls out of playoffs.
Won league 2 first attempt
Promoted from 4th, League 1, via playoffs (prediction 23rd battle relegation)
Present season in championship predicted 24th (battle relegation) currently in 8th with a 5/6/2 record.
I am so skint i am playing a promising 16yearold at aml and have another 16 yearold on bench. Board give you nothing and probably wont untll chairmens loan is paid off 500k a month until 2026, im enjoying the game, great tactic cheers.
The biggest bit of feedback is this...follow the pregame odds,
if you are an underdog set Cautious
if favourite set Positive

personally dont think the new features justify a new game release and i have bought FM since the old cm93 days, I suppose its hard to constantly polish a product, what we really are paying for here in my opinion is a new skin new database tweaked ME and some features

2012 for me was sweet spot between a game that remembers it was a game and a simulation, worst for me was 2019. Every year i moan about non complete versions being sold to appease software houses every year i still end up buying it.. for all i don't think FM22 is great i have still sunk 450hours into it... i will still probably buy fm23 and moan again
