[Changing regen names of players from fm23 save]

Hey this is confirmed as a bug that existed in FM23 that they fixed when saves are being integrated into FM24, I think the main impact was anyone called "Ivan" as circa 50% of Spanish youth teams had the same name

[Players potential appearing different from FM23]

I have played on a couple of months in game, and went back and redid the FM23 save upload into FM24 so it would be at the same day in game. On this time of integrating the FM23 save into FM24 the problem is no longer present (as the 2 players I noticed that had lost their star potential have it back at 5 stars in this new save in FM24.

Screenshot 1 below is the 2nd FM24 save which is loaded from my FM23 save, you can see the two players Manu Farinos and Phillipp Dung now are back at 5 star potential as they were in FM23.

Screenshot 2 is from the first time I brought in my save into FM24 from FM23 and shows Manu Farinos at the 2 star potential instead of the 5 stars he should have. However worth noting his development has been good and he is consistently 10.0 in training ratings or close, making me think he still has the underlying potential and its the rating that is a little buggy.
