This tactic is increaible, you just need to get the sliders right on team settings in every start of season and turn of year (time where AI adjust to the tactic). Once you get the settings right, it is by far the best tactic. Admitely it does takes a couple of games to get it right or maybe even longer, but it's worth it a the end. I managed to get a 35 games winning streak conceding just 5 goals in the process. I dominated possession and all the chances, so defence turned out to be not as important.

Just blew up a 3 goal lead ending up with a draw, when opponent switch to 4-2-4 Im screwed, tried to lower mentality and defensive line but no used.

Tick offside trap on, it helps a great deal, now I haven't been conceding goals from those 2 types mentioned before.

Going forward this tactic is really strong, an example of the potency comes in the CCC created, with Ipswich at home to Charlton, a relatively strong preseason friendly opponent, match stats: 6-3 win 22 shots 10 on target 8 CCC and some lovely passing moves going on but as has been mentioned the defence is an issue and in all my preseason games I've conceded, and the goals have all come from the same 2 sources:
(1) opposition strikers running in behind and outpacing my centre backs (my guys aren't super quick) I think maybe the defensive line is a little too high and you need very quick centre backs. A way around this could be playing with an offside trap.
(2) From crosses, usually with a player winning a header against my fullbacks at the far post, does this mean a need big guys at fullback, should it be man instead of zonal marking?
This is exactly what Im experiencing right now, I only ever conceded these 2 kind of goals

4th game lost 2-0 against Blackburn, the difference between home and away is massive

Third game Newcastle 2-3 Arsenal, the defensive problems are more apparent playing away to a poor team, could only scored 2 goals with corners.

Second game Arsenal 5-0 Stoke, this tactic is so great going forward, I can still see some defensive holes but overall it is an amazing tactic.

First game Arsenal 3-2 Villa, Lead by 3 goals, but then I let Villa strikers run in behind my defenders multiple times ending up with 2 goals. I had to lower my defensive line but still no used, managed to hold on at the end.

The Eagles tactic doesn't work well for me lost more than 4 goals in 3 away games, guess I stick back to V6 in away games

Im close to giving up this tactic, cuz I can't seem to do well in 2nd half at all. I always score early goals in the first half, then in the 2nd half almost all my player suddenly forgot how to play. I dont really understand how my team doesn't work out, I bought the right type of players for this tactic, yet I just can't win.

Can you please tell me how to keep my lead, because it has been 5 games already I failed to hold on, well last game I needed extra time to win.

3 matches in a row I couldn't hold onto 2 goals lead after HT, need help.
EDIT: Make it 4 now, Winning 2-1 HT, said nothing, Lost 3-2 at the end.

I dont understand this, I was 3-0 up at HT against Sunderland away, I said 'None' as my HT team talk as OP says, but somehow they came back to draw 3-3?

When is the away tactic coming out? Because I still struggle away even though I follow all the instructions in the OP. Time to watch CL now for me.

I just don't understand Why I could beat Weder Bremen 4-2 away, but lost to Fulham 2-1 after. All my players had superb morale and all fit enough to play. Exact same line up as well.

Your v6 tactic is absolutely awsome at home for me. I've only dropped 3 points all season.
However I was struggling away despite having a very good team and started tinkering with the tactic in away games. Since i did that I won 8 in a row (including Liverpool twice (one in the cup, one in league), Benfica and Newcastle). I followed that with a draw at Arsenal, who are invincible in my game, and back to winning ways at Man Utd.

This seems to be a really great home tactic. Marquinhos seems to score at least two a game without fail however i simply cannot do anything away from home. I gave a recently promoted Wigan their first win in 17 matches by losing 4-1 and got absolutely munched by Villa, Arsenal and West Ham whilst drawing with Leeds.
From what ive read is this the general consensus or am im just making a bit of a hash of it?
