So, solid start to the season.
IN: Bellingham (10M upfront 75M over 3 years, loaned him back until January) Harvey Maudner (175K future prospect)
So far in the league I've beat, Villa 2-0, Watford 5-0, Palace 4-0, Leicester 2-1, Leeds 3-1.
Victories in Europe against Brugge 2-0 and the Carabao Cup against Everton 2-0.
Looking at selling on Ox, Thiago, Keita next summer, obviously if they stay injury free I may reassess the situation. But I'll defo need to sell 1 or 2 of them.

Off topic a smidge. But all the best to Stevie in the prem. Hope he smashes it at Villa, needs to prove himself as it's inevitable he'll manage us one day. Tough job to take, but if he can make it work and keep them up this season, hopefully he'll be able to attract some half decent players to get Villa in the top half of the table.
Back on topic, deadline day was quiet for me, and everyone else tbf. City didn't snap Haaland up,l which is good, hopefully I can try get him next summer.

Anyone know Diogo Jotas new attributes?
They said they were going to increase his heading stat.
His heading is 13 on mine.

2 games in.
Won 2-0 against Villa, followed by a 5-0 win away to Watford.
Rotating Firmino and Jota upfront with Jones playing the AMC role, Elliot coming on for Salah/Mane when needed.
Harvey Maudner is going to get a good run too, hopefully it'll speed up his potential. He's lacking composure but all the other key stats are over 11. With a great natural fitness of 17. (175K from Reading)

I've touched lucky here, Elliot isn't injured on my save!
No idea why, but I'm not going to complain.

all good mate, getting harder to spend time on this with family and work and all that other stuff. took yesterday off work for release day, told no one so i had a day to myself
Good mate, I've dipped in and out of it over the past few years. Even skipped 18! Which is unlike me. As you said, work and family have come first and I've not had much free time.
I wish I didn't let Bellingham stay with Dortmund til January.
In need of a RB cover, thinking Nathan Patterson from Rangers, I liked him on '21, and he's reasonably priced.

Took Siven's tip on Bellingham.
Although he cost me 10M upfront, 75M over 3 years. But I'm still happy with that, I guess.
I can push for Keita, Ox and Thiago to go next window now.

good to see you back, hope your well mate
I'm good mate, yourself?
Sold Karius, 4.2M. Happy with that. Looking at signing Harvey Maudner from Reading, as my future AMR, with Harvey Elliot on the left. Although both can play all across the pitch at least.

Here we go! Let's get active again.
Installed last night, started up, played my first friendly before bed.
Always good to see glenn28 and Staf9 still here from wayyy back in the day.

Wow heres a blast from the past welcome back
I know! I was curious who'd still be here, I see you and Staf9, although the thread doesn't look as busy as it used to be!
Nearing the end of my first season, signed Sturridge on a free for a season as cover, has been injured most of it, and didn't sell anyone.
We're boss and everyone else has been terrible so I'm walking away with the league.
Got City in CL quarters, then it'll be Barca/Real in the semis, and if I get past them, probably Bayern or PSG in the final.

It's been a while, not entirely sure if anyone will remember me, but, if you do...
WELCOME BACK MH.
Neglected FM for a while, and noticed the touch edition was on XB game pass, so that's where I'm at right now.

Take him, you could always sell next season for a nice profit if need be, at least Chelsea or City won't have him. The only worry is will it make other players start demanding higher wages to be nearer his.
