Last season (3rd season) won the lot, including unbeaten league season. (Only 5 draws, Scored 123 and only conceded 14)

Cherki will have a variable PA so could also end up with a PA that is better than Mbappe, however having a higher PA is not everything. It depends on the values of specific attributes that the CA gets distributed against that determines how good a player is in a particular role.

 

So perfectly normal to have a player with lower CA that is better suited to a Role than player with a higher CA.

 

CA is based on a sum of a sub-set of the attribute set not all of them

It’s not that simple and depends more on the formation you play and how all the attributes of the player fit that role.

as also current ability is a sum of the attribute vales for a sub-set of the overall player attributes (I.e. not all attributes used by the game are used to determine current ability - this is made more obvious if you look at player detail in the editor), So it is perfectly possible for a player to have a lower CA than another but be better suited overall to the role you play him in (therefore will play better).

I've accepted £75mil for De Gea even though I dont want to sell him really, but he wants to leave anyway. Anyone got a suggestion for a replacement? Using Henderson at the moment, but I'm worried he doesnt have the required class to take over full time.

Why would you sell De Gea? (he's probably the best keeper in the game.)

Replacing you're talking someone like Ter-Stegen, Oblak, etc who would cost more than £75 mil
