In the 2024-2025 season, the format of the Champions League changes which appears to have detrimental effects on the TV revenue. Playing as Dortmund, in 2022-23 and 2023-24 I finished 3rd in the group stages and earned £42,403,118 and £37'848'932. In 2024-25 I was knocked out in the quarter final stage but only earned £750'000 in TV revenue. Is this a new rule or has the TV revenue been misattributed?
