1. This is frustrating, I tried everything in this thread and nothing seems to work. Even re-installed FM16, removed all custom graphics (including FMRTE overridden graphics), started a new game, changed skin to standard FM skin, loaded a previous save, but all this lead to 3 screens being removed from my matches. The interesting is that it started with Match Stats, a week later Opposition formation was gone and a few days after league table disappeared. I usually have them on the screen as per image below. My other settings are: I play windowed, and set the screen to maximize I follow the game in Prozone and replays in Close, Reversed Has any progress been made? Or I am the only one where this is still unresolved?
 2. I only played about a dozen games so far so my feedback is really my first impressions. I'm managing Belgium and I'm trying to win the World Cup. I love the ME! The players play the way you assign them roles to and it's running quite smoothly. If there would be 1 comment that I have, it would be that I have seen a lot of penalties stopped by the GK. In the 10 games I played, 5 penalties were stopped while 3 got scored. I'll assess it as I go further in the career before reporting it as a bug. The pinnacle was the GK from Andorra stopping a penalty from Hazard. Further I got a couple of graphical items that bug me, but are not a deal breaker. When a player runs with the ball, he seems to have his head looking downwards. I would assume they would look around for opportunities. Manager is a nice addition, but face creator lacking, not using it anyway so don't really care. On the player screen, if the player has an injury or any other notification, a bubble (inj, wnt, etc) in front of the nationality appears. I find that annoying as I prefer to see the nationality. Also, can you change your kit design when you create a club in beta? I tried it but could only do colours. Otherwise, no major concerns yet. Well done SI, looking great so far.
 3. Personally, I couldn't get excited about FM15 and I don't think I will for FM16 either. Steam says I clocked 2022 hours for FM14, 401 for FM15 while my average is around 1200 per version. I'm an older gamer as well and I believe it's harder for SI to offer "new" items that would interest people that started off in the Champ Man days. The only items I could potentially enjoy are the Fantasy Draft, Set Piece Creator and Prozone analysis. The overall graphics keep improving, however the players looks more and more fake as I find their arms are too far away from their body and the elbows look too high. It kinda reminds me of Monthy Python. Or a digital game of subbuteo:
 4. In all honesty, if countries can't put their differences aside during a major sporting event, then they don't belong at the event.
 5. I never had the message appear in my inbox, but there is an agent called Dad and he used to have a player called Wisdom, and the message in my inblox would have been: "Dad offers Wisdom"
 6. Good luck, will be following...
 7. Winsford United FC Season 2041-2042 END SEASON UPDATE Northern Premier League Division One North There wasn't much change in the second half of the season. Injury levels were low, performance was good and first league standing was never threatened. We cruised to league victory, 5 games before the end of the season. It's kinda fun to be the strongest team in the league but the challenge is also lesser. Either way, it means we'll get to the top flight sooner than expected and probably with more dough available than I had at Fisher. Speaking of Fisher, they seem to still be in financial trouble but they have stabilized and seem comfortable in the Conference Premier League. Can't wait to play them one day with Winsford Utd. The Cup performances were not that notable. The furthest we got is in the FA Trophy where we got knocked out by Staines Town (Conference South) after penalties in the Third Qualifying Round. 9. I have no doubt we'll get up a few more divisions back to back considering I can buy some good players already
 10. Winsford United FC Season 2041-2042 MID SEASON UPDATE Northern Premier League Division One North So after the celebrations settled, I decided to get rid of a lot of players and only kept the few that I trust and have proven themselves. Accidentally, I let the top scorer Bratsanos go but I thought he could grow a little and I'd rather stack my team with youngsters with big potential. It reduced my squad to 11 players but there is enough money to get about 11 new ones in. Players IN: Les Bostwick (Playmaker) Roy Drew (Defensive Forward) Connor McCormick (Target Man) Russell Roddy (Box to Box) Martin Thompson (Winger) David Knapper (Winger) Rikki Jones (GK) nicknamed Rikki Andrew Bragnoli (Target Man) Matt Amos (DC) Jack Coombes (MC) Michael Manning (AMC) I didn't list all players as the chairman kept buying players to which I usually said "no" to as they weren't suitable or not good enough. I'm of the opinion that you buy a player only if he is first team worthy. I would buy hot prospects but considering the facilities are not fantastic yet I don't see a point in training them. Even though we're listed 33-1 to win the league, with all the new players on board, I'm sure we'll do well in the league. I got the squad to train 2 tactics based on last season's experience. The preferred 4-3-3 which worked well last season, and the standard 4-4-2 when more width is required. I made sure I have a good mix of different strikers and central midfielders so I can chop and change as required. We didn't seem to have a problem at the start of the season as we opened with a great 4-0 win over a title contender. It gave us confidence and I felt we could go for a second promotion in a row. I'm sure the chairman secretly expects it even though he wants to stay clear of relegation. We only suffered 1 loss in the first 12 games and we're currently comfortably in first position. Doesn't look like we'll have an issue getting promoted again, but who knows... anything is still possible. Best players who brought us to where we stand are: last season's youth prospect Darren Fitzpatrick (16 goals, 10 assists), Les Bostwick (5 goals, 14 assists) and Connor McCormack (13 goals, 7 assists)
 11. Lots of level 9 teams popped up without manager post re-loading date. Looking at the club logos, colours, kit etc. I narrowed it down to two which I applied for both: Ware FC and Winsford Utd FC. Both offered me the job but decided to go with Winsford Utd as they offered a larger players wage budget. So off I go for a new adventure! Winsford United FC Season 2040-2041 North West Counties League Premier Division I needed staff and players as it was just me, the chairman and 7 players. A bit tricky without a scout so that was my priority. Two weeks in the new job and this message pops up: Unbelievable... Never in any of my fm saves in any version has that happened to me. Pretty stoked as I can really build the club into a youth producing machine and climb up to the premiership faster than expected. The Australian chairman is only 35 so he'll be around for a while. This game just got really interesting! Straight away I got the chairman to approve the improvements of both our youth and training facilities. Even our junior coaching got a boost. Signing players became a bit easier, but also more expensive considering we turned pro already. But with a wage budget rise from 3.6k to 83k, I'm not complaining. From the original squad, I kept 2 players that I gave a pro-contract. The others I either released or got signed by other clubs. A big search started in a bid to fill in the squad with talent that could grow over the next few years. I did find a few that can stick with us for a few seasons and grow together with the club. I also let the chairman do some talent scouting and he was signing players left right and centre as well. Although I was in charge of approving it and canceled the transfer if I didn't think the player would fit or be good enough. In the end, both of us got a team of 26 players together. Plenty to rotate around. I favoured 2 tactics depending on opposition. I picked a 4-3-3 Narrow as I felt I needed the extra man up front at this level. I believe that if you play with a lone striker at this level, he'll have to create chances on his own as the support is hardly ever there. Which means the striker needs to be quite accurate, which is also not the case at this level. So I opted for 3 strikers that just find the best open player so most goals are from CCC's. The other tactic I picked is a good old 4-4-2 to give a bit more width when required. The start of the season was slow as the tactics were being trained, still new players being introduced and I needed to find the best lineup to get the results. Even though we were meant to fight relegation, with a team full of professional players, I'm sure we would be near the top at the end of the season. Until about the 12th round, I felt we started nailing the 2 tactics and won more games. It was sometimes annoying that when I played the 4-3-3 tactic a few times in a row, the wingers started to complain about lack of playing time and making noises to move. I kinda didn't care as they are easily replaceable at this level. Due to a positive financial outcome, the board even increased my wage budget to £126K p/w and increased the transfer budget to £6.52M! I can't even buy anyone that wants to play with us for that kind of money. The season went well and we delivered our first silverware under Australian ownership! We won the league with some ease and progress to level 8! At the end of the season, the board announced a few other items I am quite happy with: I'll do the same stats as I did with Fisher, except I replaced the "profit/loss" row with "wage budget and transfer budget" Winsford United FC Stats: (taken from 24th of June)

League North West Counties League Premier Division (level 9) 1st (progress)

Cups FA Cup lost in Extra Prelim Round

FA Vase lost in Second Qualifying Round

North West Counties League Challenge Cup lost in Semi Final

Top Goalscorer Philip Bratsanos 22

Most Assists Jamie Merry 14

Best Average Rating (min of 20 games) Jim Sephton 7.13

Other notable players Tommy Fowler

Gerard Holmes

Jake Casey

Best Youth Prospect from Academy Darren Fitzpatrick

Club Reputation 2504

Estimated Club Value £15.25M And this is just because of the tycoon

Club Status Professional

Corporate Facilities Fairly Basic

Training Facilities Basic

Youth Facilities Poor

Junior Coaching Adequate

Youth Recruitment Basic

Stadium Name The Barton Stadium

Stadium Capacity 7000 (600 seated)

Average Attendance 169

Season Ticket Holders 41

Average Ticket Price £9

Average Season Ticket Price £227

Gate Receipts £27K

Annual Sponsorship £350K

Bank Balance £13,013,424

Wage Budget (Transfer Budget) £126K p/w (£6.52M) !

Total Wage Costs £809K

Transfer Expenditure £0

Players Sold Revenue £0

Players In 22

Players Out 11

12. Quick rise, hard landing. Yeah, rinse and repeat I guess.
 13. Fisher FC Season 21: 2034-2035 I was very disappointed with our failure to get promoted. Starting all over again in a bid to get a promotion was not something I was looking forward to, especially because we had a board takeover mid-June. The new board did not invest and even didn't lift the transfer embargo until the financial situation improves. Mind you, I already got rid of a few players to clear out some wage budget. Simion was one of the unfortunates that left as I didn't want to satisfy his outrageous wage demands. It sucks as it looks like I'll have to manage with only 15 players in the first team, and no prospect of broadening the squad. I guess I learned that I should really pay attention to yearly increases and bonuses when I sign a new player. I couldn't motivate myself to play a new season and decided to to do something I wasn't going to do in this thread: I jumped. Which was actually easy to do as the French Football Association wanted to hire me as manager and that seemed like fun. From 2035-2040 So a few things happened that changed this career and the thread quite drastically. I'll give a brief overview and get to the point to where I am now. First of all, I became the manager of the French national team where I had the team playing very well and even beating nr1 ranked team Spain quite comfortable in a friendly. The European Championship 2036 following was different as we qualified for the QF where we lost to Italy when it could've gone either way in that game. Italy won the title later on but the French FA felt the performance was not good enough so I got sacked. I holidayed for a few months and took over second column placed 1.FC Nurnberg in the German top division. It went ok and finished mid-table as expected by the board. The 2037-2038 season is starting and was happy I attracted some great talents for the club. We started off really well and even beat Bayern who are head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in the league. It was looking good until we started losing points to easy opponents. We dropped back to bottom tier and I was getting restless until Sampdoria offered me a job which I took. In the same season, Sampdoria was ranked bottom 5 while it should be top 5, based on players and expectations. I changed the system and we played brilliantly, even beating league leaders Juventus. We rose and ended 5th after a great comeback. The next season, 2038-2039, I only brought in 3 players as I felt we needed to beef up defense and midfield. I still played the same system but the strikers seemed to forget to score. We dominated most games but mostly lost by a small margin due to defensive errors and stupid play (penalties and such). Even though the Euro Cup was going great, to not win a single game in the first 8 league games of the season is lethal if your goal is top 5. So to avoid getting the sack, I resigned and thought about what to do next. A holiday sounds nice. I contemplated going back to Fisher but they're going from bad to worse. After they lost all the good players and couldn't sign new ones they dropped way down the Championship and even got deducted 10pts for being in administration. They relegated three times in a row and are still with "insecure" finances in the Conference Premier. I guess that's my legacy. So I looked around and decided that it is maybe time to retire and create a new manager to start over again. My manager is 63 after all. This is the my history in the game. ************************************************************** I holidayed to June 2040 and decided to load English leagues to level 9 again and unload everything else. I created a new manager based on a retiring player that doesn't continue his career along the sidelines and I also wanted this manager to come from a country that is not a great football nation. That narrowed the list to only a handful players including the player I selected: Canadian/Croatian Zvonimir Covic. [Personal Information] [Nationalities] [Achievements] [Bio] [Career Stats] And here he is as a manager. [Personal Information] [Nationalities] You might have noticed I've given the manager Sunday league reputation, but that's because I want to start at the bottom (even though he got 167 caps and 30 goals). I also gave him more hair. I tried to make everything else the same. On to finding a club!
 14. It was very painful. Not easy to recover from. This is the graph of waltzing through the season, but it's flattened a bit lately. It actually doesn't show the first season as it's too far in the past I know, no matter what I do, its not working.
 15. Fisher FC Season 21: 2033-2034 Football League Championship Keeping in line with the past seasons, I'm keen on selling one or two good players at the start of the season. This time, Parma forked out a bit of money for Daniel Fossum. I received a nice and healthy £10M from the sale. A few new additions are Johnny Mullan (ex-Notts County), Mario Ban (ex-NK Zageb), Jose Pina (ex-Porto) and Seb Hooper (ex-Man City). I almost blew the remainder of my wage budget to Seb, but I truly believe he is a worthy successor to Fossum. He's also home grown which helps with the league restrictions. I seem to have problem with missing the start of the season in the championship. Again I only got 3pts out of the first 5 games. This was the time when the transfer window was closing and when I signed both Hooper and Pina. It all went better from then onwards. The nice thing was that the duo Hooper and Pickering with either Keita or Savu behind started to combine very nicely. We lifted our game and rised again, but didn't seem to be able the break into the playoff positions. We're constantly hoovering around 7-8th. I was hoping that I would gradually climb into playoff zone post Xmas, but that turned out a bit too difficult. We were doing well in the last couple of games and at the 2nd last game of the season, we played league leaders Derby County at home. It was the most important game of the season as we needed to get points during this game to likely qualify for the playoffs. It would be nearly impossible to get to the playoffs if we lost as it would have depended on 2 other game results. I started in a slightly more defensive line up and figured I could change if required. The game turned out to be the worst of my career. A sold out stadium with 9257 spectators witnessed the helplessness we displayed while our defense was ripped open by Derby. We had to pick the ball out of our nets 5 times before halftime. Even after halftime didn't really improve as we went down with a massive 0-7 loss. Luckily fm doesn't include fans walking out of the stadium during the game as I'm sure half of the fans would've gone to the nearest pub to drown their sorrow after halftime. I know I would. The game was just absolutely rubbish to watch. Last game didn't matter and we stayed in the Championship, yet again.
