He's 15 years old, I'd be very surprised if his jumping didn't get to 15 or so at least. He will get taller than 180cm and that tends to bring a jump in jumping reach, pun intended.

Anyone started a game with Inter?
Happy with my 433 tactic, seems solid enough so far and scoring hasn't been an issue with goals from all around the pitch.
Made it to Christmas in good form, well ahead in the league, with only 1 loss and 1 draw, & a large goal difference. Have also qualified for the next round of the Champions League.
Wanted to build a team based around the core of the team in Martinez, Barella, & Bastoni. Have found Dimarco, Thuram, Pavard, & Dumfries to form part of a good 1st eleven.
The problem I’m now seeing is that there isn’t a great deal of depth. To compound that, I’ve no transfer budget. Had to give out a couple of new contracts so I have no room to manoeuvre with wages either.
Potential outgoings in January are Hakan (wanted by PSG), who I don’t want to sell but is aging & gives me a chance of recouping a large fee, & Darmian (Saudi clubs have taken an interest). Hoping to offload a large amount of reserve & youth team players too as we have far too many, & there isn’t much quality there.
Have several loans becoming permanent in the summer, none of which I particularly want, & plenty of older squad members out of contract at the end of the season who I think I will let go.
I've played 10 years with Inter and after the first season the finances get a lot easier. First season I think all I got was Jan Paul van Hecke on a free.

Another top player. Came through the PSV academy.

Good job this is pre season...

Thought I'd share this guy who I got through the youth team. Still has slight improvement according to the coaching team.

Injuries in general turned down to reality but GK injuries are way over the top. Just had my below average injury proneness GK break his hand twice in 3 months.

I've seen a few put wide. Usually what I find is a player scores a few in a row and then as soon as he misses one he then misses 3 or 4 consecutively.

do you have a screenshot of this player?
Here he is. I wouldn't say he was absolutely ridiculous, some sort of Mbappe/Henry lovechild. I was at Wolfsburg before and signed a player for £100m who attribute wise is a little better.

I'm sure this question has been asked before in these parts but I thought I'd ask.
I'm still playing FM22 and have a save where I holidayed 100 years into the future so I am now in 2143 and am in charge of PSG, Man Utd are after my star man and originally came in with £180m which is big but I've seen before. They then came back with £237m which might be the biggest I've seen but now they have come back again with £313m (All time record in game is £195m). Has anyone seen bigger than that? And no, I am not going to accept...

Ranieri won the league with Leicester and got them into the CL knockout stages the next season and got sacked for being 16th or so in the league.

I have an Inter save and Immobile for Lazio in the first 4 years has scored 39, 44, 50 and 54 in all comps. 43 in the league at 35 years old in 2025, only 6 penalties in there. 42 in 43 games for Italy in that time as well.
Overall yes I am saying he is insane on my save too, still it is good to see the AI doing well for once seeing as usually everyone complains the game is too easy.

Yeah I agree that's really annoying. If it was a slight difference it would be understandable. Was he released before he agreed that? As I wonder if that affects it?
No he agreed that in the January before he left. I've since googled this seeing as it made it basically impossible to renew half my squad and it seems it's related to how much of your wage budget is available. Not sure if this is well known but we had a budget of about £4.4m per week and were only using about £1m at the time so that is why all the players were asking for massive numbers. If you move the transfer budget/wage budget slider fully to transfer budget to minimise your wage budget then suddenly players are much more reasonable, I've had someone else asking for £375k now agree to £70k.

I'd love some low wages, playing as Valencia I've got 6 years in and despite my highest paid player being on £110k a week it seems everyone now wants £350k to resign. Jose Gaya apparently had us as his first choice and wanted £350k, he wouldn't negotiate any lower so he signed for Barcelona on a free for £100k a week which is exactly his current wage.... fantastic. Carlos Soler and Rodrygo both want the same kind of money and have a year left on their contracts so they are both probably going to be sold, we don't have that kind of money and those numbers are ridiculous for good but not great players.

I'm sure there's always a guy who appears in the Atalanta youth system called Luca Mortellaro.

Because that option does not exist in the game.

I had the same thing, seems like a bug. Not sure if it's likely to happen every 4 years but for some reason it only affected Italian players, Argentina obviously were playing but Lautaro was still available for me.

For me he went to a mid table Leicester at the end of season 1 and stayed there most of his career until I signed him for Roma. Seemed pretty unrealistic.

Does anyone have any tips on how to break down a back 3? My teams find it completely impossible, any team that plays with 3 at the back is impregnable for me. This has been the case for year after year on this game now and I have no idea why, I pray that teams turn up with a back 4 or I already know I need a set piece goal or something to ever score. Literally there are no highlights in the game except the inevitable break away goal. I have tried everything over the years and nothing has ever worked. I am playing in Italy and now Sampdoria always play a 3-3-3-1 and it's just painful to watch, they are terrible and yet I know we won't score. Meanwhile Simone Inzaghi is at Juventus and while they are totally average overall they are unbeatable to me. Does anyone else experience this or is just me?

For me he went to Spurs in 2022 on a free transfer, won Premier League player of the year and the title for Spurs.

How do you rate Lazio squad od FM21? I'm thinking about starting a new save in Italy.
To me Lazio is probably the most overrated team on the game, Immobile, Milinkovic-Savic, Luis Alberto and Acerbi are basically all world class, Lazzari, Correa, Parolo and Luiz Felipe not far behind.

Thanks for that, I only get about an hour on it each night after work but hopefully I will get a good run at it by Friday night. Ive got Papetti on loan in my other save with Sunderland but im trying to steer clear of him with Roma as everyone seems to be signing him on this years save.
I seem to always play a Roma save every year, this time is no different. Been playing for 2 weeks on the Beta and it seems I signed players that are pretty common albeit unknowingly at the time with Papetti and Ugarte. Personally I try to move on all the older players as soon as possible although I feel some are holding their attributes better this year, Dzeko didn't lose much in the year I kept him but he was sold mainly due to his massive wage and Milik coming in on a free to replace him.
First season I finished second, actually bottled it in the last few games and let Inter sneak the title, we could barely score a goal but somehow kept winning 1-0. Second was still a big overachievement for a team that scored 51. I'm now about half way through season 2, things are similar with a top group of us, Inter, Lazio, Juve and Atalanta at the top, Milan and Napoli are behind. I was able to pick up Thauvin on a free from Marseille, Milenkovic from Fiorentina for £8m and Kessie from Milan for £13m in the summer. Calafiori was doing well in the first season before he did his ACL and lost 3 points to his acceleration and pace immediately, I was devastated. He is back fit and trying to recover, may go out on loan. Papetti has developed ok but is behind Mancini, Milenkovic and Ibanez who has been excellent so he may also go on loan. Kumbulla has not improved at all, here is my squad off the top of my head right now...
GK: Livakovic, Montipo
LB: Luca Pellegrini (back from Juve luckily), Angelino (on loan), Calafiori (recovering from ACL)
CB: Mancini, Milenkovic, Ibanez, Kumbulla, Papetti
RB: Spinazzola, Hysaj
CM: Kessie, Gagliardini, Cristante, Villar, Lorenzo Pellegrini
AM: Perez, Asensio (loan), Kluivert, Zaniolo, Thauvin
ST: Milik, Luis Suarez (the Colombian one)

Funnily enough the board have just announced they are searching for a site for a 100,000 seater stadium. The bad news is I am in 2047 so it takes a while.
