I agree largely with this. It's a much more competitive and tougher game this year which is great. Consistency seems to be rewarded more than chopping and changing, which helps after FM22. I'd also say for average teams there's a lot more 'random' runs of form. I know most managers complain about this, but it's entirely realistic with part time players who would also be working outside of football, etc. Overall, I personally still feel FM23 is a huge upgrade and the AI delivering more competition is the best change we could have asked for! P.S. It's great that gegenpress finally isn't overpowered this year. Part time teams generally can't press everyone relentlessly for 90 minutes every 3 days! 😂
