Hi all!
I have taken over Tottenham in my save where I have a pretty decent team in 2025. I was offered the job in January and managed to win the Carabao cup during my first 17 matches which led me to 9 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses - and with a goal scoring of 16-9.
We have played some good games winning 1-0 vs Chelsea, 1-1 away at Arsenal, 1-1 against Man Utd and only a small 0-1 loss away at Man City.
The defensive part is very good, but not the attacking part despite having two wingers and two strikers:
Harry Kane as DLF with 2 goals and 0 assists in 15 matches
Troy Parrott as AF with 6 goals and 5 assists in 17 matches
Son as IW with 0 goals and 2 assists in 10 matches
Chukwueze with as W with 3 goals and 1 assist in 11 matchesMy questions are how do I get my attacking players involved in more goals - how do we score more?

Hi all,
Normally I use Documents > Sports Interactive for skins and other stuff.
Is it possible to change that location?
I'm asking because I use two different Windows accounts on my computer and therefore I have to download everything (skins, background packages etc.) twice.
Thanks!

Playing with Chester. Had 5 back-to-back promotions from VNN to PL, just won the PL in 2030. It's too easy due to multitude of factors, but most importantly; the AI can't adapt their tactics and is too defensive, the AI is horrible at squad building. Finding wonderkids (who somehow preferably sign for the human player) is way too easy, and their development is way too fast. The Ai stacks their squads with overpaid 31-olds who are quickly overpowered by the wonderkid army of the human player, as experience has zero value in the game world.
Do you play with a plug and play tactic?
With my CM/FM experience tactics are maybe the most important factor for good results.

I'm have struggled playing with a top side in Denmark and a lower league side in Denmark as wel...far from easy. I know football, but apparently I can't crack FM 21 tactics!!!

To those who find the game too easy...
Which team are you playing with and why is it so easy?
I'm asking because I have now played with a top side and a amateur side in Denmark. With both teams I have had it very difficult. Actually, I have struggled so much that it has affected my game experience.

Has it been fixed? This bug gives my FM experience a low blow!

How does it work with smaller teams?

Thanks for all the replies. It seems like my list in my post is pretty much the differences there are.
I think that I will start a save on FM Touch over the weekend, and try it out. At the moment I think the full version of FM (which I always have preferred) is too complex and time consuming.

I prefer FM touch. It is limited in terms of leagues and database, but the other things is doesn't have such as player interactions and press conferences, I actually feel make it a better version. I find on the full version just going through the motions and clicking the same answers every time. It's very tedious.
The rest of the game is largely the same. Some stuff is more behind the scenes then on full fat but it's the superior version in my opinion.
It's also super fast
How is Touch in regards to talented regens? I imagine a lot less regens each year than in the full version (of course depending on database size).

Hi all,
I just bought the game for the first time in two years and I'm eager to start playing! However, before I start I want to find out if I should play the full or the Touch version. Simply because I now have three kids and therefore am pretty limited with time. I like using the editor for creating cup tournaments, so it's a massive blow that Touch doesn't support this, but maybe I can live with that for some time at least.
But what else is lacking from Touch? I have started a list - can you help me making it longer?
FM Touch 21 compared to FM 21:
- Allows only up to 50K players database
- Doesn't support FM ingame editor
- Doesn't support FM editor
- Has a faster gameplay
- Less control over training
- Less interaction with fans
- Less interaction with media
- Less interaction with players

If I buy the game on Stadia (not a subscription), will I then have the possibility to play the game on any computer without downloading anything? Or is this feature for subscribed customers only?

How do I add my custom database/league (editor data) in FM 2017?
Maybe it's impossible while in BETA mode?

@Özil - Seems like a very interesting tactic! Can you post a screenshot of your players match / goal / assist statistics?
Thanks!

How do I make my 4-2-4 more attacking?

Thanks for all of your help!
I know, my tactic is a bit contradictory. And I did notice the "work ball into box", but my results were pretty good despite not scoring as much as I would like to.
I have now changed it a bit and after three Premier League games in the beginning of a new season I have won all three! It was 4-2 vs Man Utd (H), 2-1 vs Everton (A) and 2-1 vs Aston Villa (H). And then a 3-0 win against a team in the Conference League qualification. So far so good. I may tweak it a bit more if results will go the wrong way.
Here's what I changed:
- AML changed to Inside Forward (attack)
- I lowered the press line by one notch
- I lowered the defensive line by one notch
After this Son (left IF) has now scored 2 in 2 and Parrott (AF) has scored 4 in 3 + 2 assists.
I can't wait for my kids to go to sleep tonight so I can continue this save!
