  1. Hi all, Apologies if this has been discussed in the past. I'm using FM22 editor (on Epic Games if this makes a difference). I have found it quite difficult to navigate, and weirdly some options seem to have become invisible since I first started. As I am new to editing, it's hard to tell whether this is a bug or I simply need to do something in order to access these options. I've attached a few pictures which hopefully describe what I am encountering: For example, when I first started using the editor, when editing/creating clubs, all of the options for things such as coaching staff and competitions were available to edit. Now, they seem to be invisible and not available to edit (see pictures 1 to 4). When I add a new competition now, there seems to be a limited selection of options to change, and is missing crucial options such as continent, and if you look on the left panel, it won't even let you add teams to the competition (see picture 5). When compared to if I edit an existing competition such as ECC (see picture 6), you can see there is more options including continent, and teams on the left panel. This issue persists even when I restart the editor and reload the database, even when I don't load any editor data in. Is this a bug, or am I missing a setting? I've been watching youtube tutorial videos and it feels like what I see when I repeat their steps is not quite the same due to stuff like this. Also, in general, is FM22 editor particularly buggy when it comes to things like advanced rules? I would happily stick to basic rules if it had what I wanted, but basic rules seem to not have much functionality and advanced rules seem to be the only way, despite me being out of my depth using them! Are the FM23 and FM24 editors any better? I'd consider upgrading if there were any less buggy or easier to use. Many thanks!
  2. Did you find any solution to this? I am having a similar problem when trying to convert to advanced rules with Cayman Islands
  3. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated! I'll give this a go
  4. Hi All! I'm new to editing on Football Manager. It seems like this is a fairly common topic that people get stuck on, but I haven't been able to work it out from the tutorials I have watched so far. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some tips or point me in the right direction of a relevant tutorial. Basically, I am looking to create a tournament that I would simulate as a one off. My friend and I like coming up with all-star teams based on certain criteria eg. a team of players that tuck their shirts in (Rodri, Azpilicueta, Adama Traore...), a team of players with names that are foods (Rice, Nacho, Lasagna) etc. All very silly, but we wanted to see what would happen if they played each other in a world cup style competition, and who would win. So essentially, I'm looking for the best way to simulate a tournament (group stage then knockout) with 16 new teams that have players taken from existing clubs. I would just like to run the tournament once as a simulation with all the clubs automanaged by the computer. This would obviously have a big impact on all the existing real leagues with lots of top players being stolen from the clubs and a few managers too, but I will not be looking at any of these league and don't mind about them being messed up as long as the simulation still runs. I also am not looking to run the tournament as part of a proper career mode where it will seamlessly play alongside the other leagues and be a good playable experience. I simply want to simulate an isolated month long world cup style tournament then be finished with the save. I'm realising this is not as simple as I thought! Does anyone have any advice on where to start? Perhaps duplicate a preseason tournament, club world cup or European cup as a starting point? Or maybe just add it as a separate division/competition in the English league structure. Thanks!
