Hello everyone, I'm currently working on India-National rules, this is the first time I have delved into the FM pre-game editor and any help is appreciated.
1] This is India league specific, so the Indian Super League has two stages, a league stage that has the "Shield winner" and a play-off that gives the "Cup winner". It's similar to A-League. So the league stage is normal, but the play-off is where it gets tricky.
There are 6 teams in the playoffs, the first round is with teams from 3-6, and the winners then play the next round with teams 1-2 and then a final. I know "Championship playoff" needs to be used for this, but how to set it up in the above format?
2] I have a regional cup with 10 groups of 7 teams, 16 teams need to progress to the knockoffs. The expected result is that 6 2nd place teams will be selected. But I have noticed that sometimes, a group has 3 teams progressing because the 3rd place team has more no points than other 2nd place teams.
3] For cups in Advanced rules, I can fetch the "Best teams in the division", what does this actually mean? Is it based on the club's reputation or the previous season's league standings?
4] Once the India leagues are setup, I'm planning to create a SAFF Club Championship
And this is the part I'm confused on how to set up.
