Story of my life - I'm in season 5 now and I've seen 10-12 takeovers fail. I suspect it's the debt that puts them off.

Removing the lower leagues once you're promoted MASSIVELY speeds up the game. I've gone from taking three nights per one in-game month, to sometimes two months in one night. I recommend you all do the same!

I finally, FINALLY, finished season 4 - and very nearly blew it! Had that barren run for a few games, but Glossop in second lost four in a row at the same time, pretty much saved my season. They then failed to win the playoffs Now £100k in the red, but I have a good team going in to season 5. Must have turned down 20 job offers from league clubs too. It's quite the ride!

Season 3 complete, league title and one cup but really hard to keep a team together when other teams come in for your players all the time. Managed to sell my first player, $6.5k, took two months for squad morale to improve again! Finances are terrible and I don't know what to do about it.

Halfway through season 3 now, barely playing any league games with all those cup games! Won only 1 of the first 5 games but now on a 14-game win streak having again adjusted my tactics. I'm so used to playing 4-2-3-1 that it's making me remember old-school tactics like 4-4-2 and 4-5-1

@K13eke I'm 'Captain Azzy' on the Discord, you'll see me around that's for sure! I've started season 3 and have Michael Sarpong and Daniel Ihejirika in the starting line-up, with Mostaff Jafari in the squad but not making the bench. Charlie and Komo are in the reserves but everyone else has gone off elsewhere sadly. Amazed at some guys taking the team into League 1!

Season 2 complete, Champions again. Won the league with two games to spare so brought in a few of the younger players from the start of the save, meaning we did have a few OGs still repping the golden arrows. Loved that Keele finished second after getting promoted with me the season before. Top scorer Wolny couldn't hit a barn door at Tier 12, but Tier 11 he ripped it up.

Not only am I nearly at the end of Season 2 and a second title, but I took the plunge today to join the club as a Board Member. It's already been worth the money - I strongly recommend that anyone who can afford to, do so!

Thanks for the update @K13eke, so great to see so many names on there! I suspect I'll be adding more points in Season 2 as it's been much, much easier than Season 1 - I've been able to sign players who are 'leading Level 9' players, meaning Level 11 has been a piece of cake thus far. Sadly none of the original AFC Crewe players have made it except for Sam Marsh, who doesn't make the bench but steps in when injuries strike. Wish more of the squad had been good enough but with the random stats at the start, that was always going to be a tough ask. Great to see IRL AFC Crewe doing so well too!

Season 1 complete - finally - and Champions at the death! Learnt a huge amount about the lower leagues in the first half of the season, then turned on the jets in the second half. Could not have done this without replacing the entire team either, sorry to the fine gents at AFC Crewe; only existing players I used were Ezaye and Marsh, and only then for less than 30 games between them. Just look at how badly we started the season:

I'm about to complete Season 1 and am top with one game to go - think I've worked it out now but may come back to you for Season 2!

I seem to have worked out my tactical issues, now up to 5th in Season 1 after 20 games. Will likely be the only person on here not to win the league in the first season

I've gone with signing players, but the lack of wingers anywhere means I'm having to play a narrow formation and I'm getting done down the flanks by literally everyone :/

I must be tactically inept - I've only won 3 of my first 7 league games in Season 1...much harder than I thought it would be, hats off to those crushing it!
