  1. Thanks. I posted it in the other forum. Another thing I have been noticing is very unrealistic friendly requests for reserve teams. We are playing in the Superliga (Top League), yet U19-teams of random Non-League teams feel the need to challenge our reserve team to friendlies constantly. Why in the world would a Top League reserve team play some random Non-League clubs youth team IRL?
  2. Noticed a funny news item, that is probably related to a bug in the way the league is viewed by the game. You don't qualify for the relegation stage, you fail to qualify for the championship group. So despite playing against heavy competition, it is not a victory. If you placed the worst team in the world in the preliminary phase, then they would also end up "qualifying" for the relegation stage :-)
  3. Probably not a database issue, but this message makes no sense at all :-) You don't qualify for the relegation stage, you fail to qualify for the championship group. So despite playing against heavy competition, it is not a victory. If you placed the worst team in the world in the preliminary phase, then they would also end up "qualifying" for the relegation stage :-)
  4. Winter training camps for Danish teams seem to be arranged too late. In the Superliga, my training camp with Avarta gets arranged from 16. to 26. febuary, but Superliga fixtures start on the 11th of febuary.
  5. Away attendances seem to be a bit off in the Danish Leagues. For example, when playing against Nordsjælland as Avarta, i almost get a sell-out crowd of 10.000 against Nordsjælland, because they bring 7.000 away fans. IRL they don't even have 7.000 home fans. I think this is might be because it is considered a local derby, but in reality only Brøndby and FC Copenhagen have extreme amounts of away fans in Copenhagen local matches. Nordsjælland also have a home average of 14.000 in my current season (28/29). This also seems very high. I don't think they would ever get that high, even if they where the most succesfull team in Denmark. There are just not enough fans outside Brøndby and FCK in the region.
  6. By "motherclubs" I mean, that they are the clubs whos professional department at one point created the new clubs, and they are therefore in theory the amateur department (or 2nd, 3rd, 4th team if you will) of the new clubs. For example B1903 and KB became FC Copenhagen, but continue to function at amateur level themselves - but they can not play in the cup, as only the first team of a club can - which for both teams is now FC Copenhagen. Hope that makes sense :-)
  7. I have been playing some seasons with Avarta in Denmark, who start out a an amateur club. After a couple of seasons, the club first went Semi-Pro and the Pro. Despite this, they continue to offer me N/A as wage in all contracts. I can not in any way ask for a wage. I have uploade the savegame "Motherclubs in Danish Cup and not getting a wage despite professional.fm".
  8. Hey. Sorry, didn't see your post until now. I have uploaded the savegame "Motherclubs in Danish Cup and not getting a wage despite professional.fm". This is a couple of seasons later, but still Clubs like "Haderslev" (which is the motherclub of Sønderjyske) and "Herning Fremad" (which along with Ikast FC is the motherclub of Midtjylland) and "KB" and "B1903" (which are both motherclubs of FC Copenhagen) are playing in the Danish Cup.
  9. A few more things I noticed. Sønderjyske Fodbold should probably more correctly be spelled "SønderjyskE Fodbold". They use the large "E" normally. Also, Sønderjyske's 2nd team is misspelled "Sønderjyse" (missing the "k").
  10. Just started a game with Avarta in the 3rd division and everything is mostly great, but I have noticed a few things the first couple of seasons. - Avarta and the other teams promoted from Danmarksserien don't play in the Cup during the first season. I don't know if this is a bug or is intended, but it seems wierd, as other teams lower down the leagues do play. - I have seen a few instances, where motherclubs of professional teams play in the cup - I even saw Haderslev play against SønderjyskE. This should not happen, as Haderslev is basically the 2nd or 3rd team of SønderjyskE. - The attendances in the Cup seem very low, when lower league teams play at home against Superliga teams. For example, only around 600 showed up to watch 2nd division Avarta against top-club Midtjylland and around 100 showed up to watch NF2000 from the 3rd division at home to Viborg. - When I was promoted from the 3rd to the 2nd division, the board wen't Semi-Pro, yet they continue to offer me a contract of 0 Euroes pr. week. I don't know if this is a bug or just a feature of having a small budget.
