Yes! That must've been why I couldn't choose from a different league. Started up a new save with the normal settings on and it works fine. Thanks!

I have done those things and chosen advanced set up. And ive made sure that the leagues are playable aswell. I started up a new save just so I can get a screen shot. The other leagues are greyed out when Im going to choose a team.

I can only choose teams from the country my favourite team is from. So my favourite team is Real Madrid so the game only allows me to choose teams from spain. And I have chosen multiple leagues when I started the database. Is there anybody else that has this problem? And maybe have some solutions?
