When giving a pre-game or halftime speech, one can reliably get a positive reaction from most of the team, for example the last option about "...recent praise is justified...". Most of the team gets a yellow or green reaction. However, when the match (re)starts, players' body language do not have any positive effect carried over from the team talk that just happened. This is a regression from FM23. -
Throw-ins: opposite side fullback chosen as taker too often

OK I realized this was actually my mistake, as when I looked into the takers list, I saw that the initial set pieces setup assigned takers for all situations, including Throw-ins attacking in final third. By tweaking the throw-in taker list I was able to prevent this situation, though the UI still takes some getting used to. -
I just experienced the same issue. I've never seen it in previous FM versions. I uploaded Boston01172024.fm save file.

I am seeing this too. Repro steps: Start save as Boston United in VNN in old-style game mode. Navigate to 35-year-old Michael Bostwick. Overview -> Send on Coaching Course. Pop-up says Board will get back to you. Board never responds

Throw-ins: opposite side fullback chosen as taker too often

Expected behavior: When untouched, throw-ins should generally taken by same-side fullback, i.e. right-side throw-ins taken by DR and left-side throw-ins by DL. However, I'm seeing fairly often (but not every time), that throw-ins are taken by the fullback on the OPPOSITE side, leading to a lot of wasted stamina having to trek across the field back into position. In attached screenshot, see a right-side throw-in taken by Boston United's DL Brad Nicholson. -

Staff search rating view doesn't contain ratings column. Customizing the view is needed to add the ratings column. This is a regression compared with FM23.

For the first team, when you create an advert for a coach, you get an inbox item as an acknowledgement. However, when creating an advert for a youth-team coach, e.g. U18 coach, there's no inbox item created. The advert does show up in Job Center.
