In my "Scouting Update" inbox item as well as in my Scouting Centre list of recommendations, the Cards view is not displaying a card. When I toggle to List view, I see dozens of reports waiting. I recently tweaked my advanced filters for what shows up where, and I'm wondering if this is related. Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly what changes I made. All my remaining reports are Requested Reports--I moved these from inbox to Scouting Centre in my settings. I don't know how far back it would be useful or necessary to go in order to reproduce this bug, but opening the Scouting Centre in the attached save game allows it to be seen without a continue. -
With 2 games left in the EFL Championship, I am in 2nd place and have a 3 point lead over 3rd place. Top two places win automatic promotion. The game seems to think, based on team meeting dialogue and press conference questions, that I can clinch 2nd place with a win, due to my superior goal difference. But my goal difference is 42 and third place is 41, so if we both win by the same margin, then goal difference would be *guaranteed* to flip if I lost and third place won. I shouldn't be getting dialogue options based on clinching from one game.

This feature feels so basic that the fact it doesn't already exist makes me think it's impossibly tricky for some reason. You should be able to toggle Attribute Masking on and off during a save. I assume that masking has some additional code/data involved compared to no masking--going from masking to no masking should be easy, at least.

FM23 My scouts aren't scouting?

I'm currently in the English Vanarama National League South (tier 6) in 2026. My scouts don't really seem to be doing anything--I have one ongoing recruitment focus, for any player matching my tactic, and it has been sitting at 6 recs/2 near misses/1 in progress for over a month now. None of the scouting screens I can find suggest that my scouts are looking at new players. Under Scouting Coverage > Scouting Assignments, one scout has the recruitment focus listed, but he also says "Awaiting an assignment" and "Next planned match: N/A", and his Recruitment Focus Area says "no current assignment". I've never seen scouts planning to attend a match in FM23. Is there something wrong? Why aren't my scouts going out and scouting people? (Duties: "Assigning scouts" and "Handling scouting meetings" are on me, "Providing scout feedback" is on my chief scout.)
