Online game “error saving game”

Hi everyone, I have tried two online saves with my friend now on Xbox edition, both times we have played for a considerable amount of time and then the game will not save and says “Error saving game” It says there is still a lot of available cloud space on the console to save the game. When clicking save game as as an alternative to save game, the game crashes and deletes the file. Any help is grateful. -
