1 "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
  1. Hi! I am trying to create a country cup that involves multiple leagues within the same country. For this I am using the same country rules and modifying an existing cup (Argentine - Argentine Cup). What I want to do is a classification/elimination system between teams from lower divisions so that the best ones remain and as the rounds progress, teams from stronger divisions are added. Currently my problem is that I cannot find a way to specify in the external editor which teams of X divisions are the ones I want to be eliminated first and which ones I want to be added in a later round. The only thing I see that I can do is start the cup with an X number of random teams between the chosen divisions and that they be eliminated and added without specifying these parameters. So in my opinion, by doing this, I think I run the risk that the teams from the highest division will be eliminated randomly with the teams from the lower divisions at the beginning of the cup and that in the round that new teams are added, the new teams are teams from lower divisions. TL;DR: for the custom cup that I am creating by adding rules to an existing structure I have 64 teams from 3 different divisions: Premier League (20) Championship (24) League 1 (24) I want only the Championship and League 1 teams to be eliminated in 3 qualifiers (48 -> 24 -> 12) so that the best 12 remain and then the 20 Premier League teams are added and thus form 32 teams for the final phase. Is there a way to specify in the external editor that this be in the manner explained recently? or is it impossible and must be all random? If someone could guide me, I would really appreciate it.
