When i send a scout to watch 2 targets i wanted to sign, not only did they not go and watch him but it won't let me cancel assignment, i click 'cancel assignment' but it doesn't stop it and the cancel assignment button is still there.

When i went in for Andreas Schjelderup, he had a release clause for 7.5mill which i met but also added a loan back for the rest of the season to give him more game time although he didn't want to be loaned back so he declined contract talks. A few weeks went by and i went in for him again but it won't let me remove the loan back clause to be able to just buy the player for his release clause.
