  1. I have a group stage then knock format domestic cup for each league division and I want to use finishing position in the previous league season as some sort of seeding for the draw. Any ideas on what I can use in advanced rules? It's a 16 team league so either a straight ranking, or pots of four. Something like that would be great!
  2. Hi All, I've been working on a custom nation database and imported to FM24. I took over Gibraltar and added a nice amount of people and this was decently reflected in the names of regens, added staff and greyed out players. Now I've come back to it after Christmas and an update and all the regen names have turned to Gibraltarian names and it's completely excluding the names in the pool I've created. Any ideas? If they've created a names list surely my created names would add to this list not override it?
  3. Looks like it. I have noticed that managerial support also has a tiny effect, so higher reputation compared to players or been at the club a while. What is so special about real clubs in the editor that gives them decent starting cohesion, then?
  4. Apparently not. I created a team of 22 players who were all 31, had joined the club 10 years ago. They were all each other's favourite personnel, all loved the club and had 200 appearances in the history and their non-player history was populated. The bar was all the way to the left.
  5. Hi All, I'm in the process of creating a league system in a custom nation with created clubs and players. Some clubs only have a marginal improvement in their team cohesion from completely abysmal in some cases upon starting a save, and there's not an obvious correlation between clubs. The clubs are at different stages of completion in the following areas, so I'm unsure if I'm missing something in terms of replicating real life clubs and their starting team cohesion rating at the start of a save. Some of the areas I've completed/started to fill in at some clubs are as follows: Player History Days in Club/Nation Favourite Personnel (other players - some clubs have more players with favourite personnel being current players than real clubs) Favourite Personnel (on club screen) Favourite Clubs Player Partnerships (e.g. two CMs) Date Joined Club (All players have this filled in to different dates with some coming through at a young age). The key question is am I missing something in the editor to increase team cohesion to reasonable levels as per real clubs or is it something I am going to have to swallow until it grows naturally in-game, so I don't spend a huge amount of time updating some of the above details for what may only be cosmetic reasons?
