I tried to talk the previous captain into stepping down from his post, so I could offer it to someone with higher leadership. He told me that I was making a mistake in replacing him. So I planned to give him another chance. His name was then greyed out on the 'select captain for the season' email, so I couldn't select him for the role. This then upset him and he wanted to leave.
