Is there a way of finding the outcome of this review please? At some point I'd like to to star my save which has been messed up again...but it's only worth it knowing that the problem has been sorted. Thanks. -

I've been playing around with this again this evening and there is definitely something weird going on with three of my players on the registration screen who it will just not keep registered. No matter what I do with selecting/deselecting any of the players it is the same three that then end up unregistered. -

I'm in the early stages of season three of my save. I started with Badalona in the fourth tier of Spain and am using the stand in game database - not a custom one. At the end of season two I got promoted to tier three which has slightly different squad registration rules, as shown in my attached image. During season two my board downgraded the club to semi-pro due to finances (although also decided to build a new stadium!) which is why I currently have zero players ticking the full time contract box. I can't offer either current players new full time contracts and when I'm signing new players I can't offer them full time contracts either. My board refuse to go back to professional too so I dont see how this will change and therefore me be able to meet that criteria. Then, a friend told me that I could probably get past this issue by getting to the registration deadline and going on holiday for a day which would somehow 'lose the paperwork' and just allow me to carry on. It did...but three of my players (signed for free this window) just won't stayed ticked on the registration screen. I'll give them a tick, click confirm and it'll give me the warning about X number of players need a full time contract. If I go to another window then go back they stay ticked. If I click continue then go back to this registration screen those three players are all unticked again. Something strange is definitely going on with registration and squad numbering. On my squad numbering screen I cannot make any changes and weirdly have one of my youth players taking up a number that I need despite him never playing for the first team. I've uploaded my game file for you. Help! -

Yes this was promtion to the third tier and I'm using the standard game database. As I mentioned replying to the other guy above I think it probably does need reporting as other odd things happening too. There is no competition prize money for either league that I've been in and I got nothing for getting through the early Copa del Rey rounds either....which I can't believe. Finances are impossible.

It's not a custom database - it's the standard game database. I did try the holidaying past registration day thing which did work...although three of my new key signings kept jumping back to being unregistered so I can't play them in any league games! I'm wondering if it is a bug as something weird is happening with squad numbering too...in that I can't make any changes to that either and one of my youth players seems to have a squad number despite not even being in the squad.

I'm looking for some advice as assuming others might have hit this situation before. I've just been promoted and one of the registration rules in the new league is that players must have full time contracts. My club is only semi-pro so I can't offer full time contracts - to my current players or new signings. The board also denied my request to become professional. I don't have the editor and would prefer not to use it really. A friend of mine said that they had the same issue and got past it by selecting players to meet the other conditions, then holidayed for one day to get past the registration deadline and that seem to confuse the system and allow you to carry on...but I wonder if there are any other ideas from you guys?

Although I had no issues in purchasing and installing the game on both occasions (last night and then this afternoon) on the game loading my Norton antivirus has kicked in with the attached threat warning. Is this just my Norton being ultra sensitive?

I echo what the guys above had said. I've had strikers with a relatively low finishing attribute score plenty if they've had other good scores on things like anticipation, composure, decision making, technique etc.

Hi all. For FM24 I was going to move away from my usual journeyman save and had got my heart set on doing the CF Badalona challenge where the idea is you take on the small club that's just 10km from Barcelona and try get them to finish above the mighty Barca. I've bought FM24 and was reading up on Badalona only to find that I think they've been relegated last season to Spain's 5th tier which I believe is lower than what FM24 will go down to. I can't even begin the save with them in FM and take advantage of the new save transfer function as I was still finishing off my FM22 journeyman so never got round to getting FM23! I know people have created much lower levels of databases for England for instance....but does anyone know if this sort of thing is made for countries like Spain also?
