[Copa del Rey squad rules]

Still around! The rules for cup tournaments published by RFEF say that teams must keep on the pitch at least seven players from the team's first squad:

The first and second division rules further specify that this rule means that only four players from B and youth teams can be on the pitch at any given time.

Juan Giménez is called "adjunto al secretario técnico" (aka DoF Carlos Rosende) by the club, so I think it would be more realistic to have him as head scout rather than as a regular scout.

According to the club, Rosende, Giménez and Castiñeira are the only members of the scouting department. Javier Álvarez Mosquera no longer works as a scout for the club. He is an intern at Real Valladolid instead:
