Still around! The rules for cup tournaments published by RFEF say that teams must keep on the pitch at least seven players from the team's first squad: The first and second division rules further specify that this rule means that only four players from B and youth teams can be on the pitch at any given time. -
The game doesn't allow you to call up more than 4 players from your B-team for Copa del Rey games. However, this rule doesn't exist in real life. The only limit for B-team players is that only 4 are allowed to be on the field at the same time, but teams can have as many as they want on the bench.

It seems that only 3 (+1 at extra time) substitutions out 7 substitutes are allowed for Copa del Rey games. It should be 5 subs out of 11 substitutes allowed for your squad just like for league competitions.

Primera RFEF registration rules allow up to 3 goalkeepers. However, only numbers 1 and 13 are reserved for goalkeepers. This can cause #24, which should be reserved for your third GK, to be randomly asigned to a player in your B team, causing you to be locked in the squad selection screen before the game.
