Anyone? I tried the AP attack and next game was a very uneventful 0-0 with 6.6 accross the board. Used a AM (S) in FA Cup

I am in 2030 with Fulham. I took them from a relegation team, to a side battling the premier league and Champions League. I just dont seem to get the best out of my Advanced Forward who is really good. I know he has 7.2 and lots of goals but I often see him with 6.3, 6.2. He also cant play as a PF. So, I tried moving Di Nicola to an AP (Att) for one game and I suddenly created lots of chances. So is the issue the AM(a) AF combo? Is DiNicola the issue? Does AP (A) and AF combo work at a high level or do I try Darren Jones? The tactic is a 4231 Gegenpress with default instructions. I have changed roles to suit the players.

I started in Conference North and was given Fulham job after keeping them up. I have tried various tactics including Gengen press and Counter and i managed to come 5th. My team is young and full of 5 star/4 star potential players. I am doing well. I am 3rd in Prem, but its close znd one loss and i could drop to 7th. My questions 1/ I noticed my front 3 have poor workrate (10s 12). In tactic, edit, i dont get the the Ass Manager options, i just get one - control possession. I have never used this and dont know best instructions. I kept default instructions. ASS MAN suggested 433 but i dont have the players. I am doing well with it. Picture attached. Can this be made better? The default tactic has a AP Att and a DM SU instead of DLP and AM att but I have a lot of AM Atts? Im not sure if AP/DM is needed or keep DLP AMA? 2 I struggle to score and often sneak 1 nils. I have an awesome striker puc attached 3 i struggle away from home? Any tips 4 i struggle against rubbish teams? Its either 0'0 or 1-0 to them with a scabby goal... Thanks

I am Man United in season 2 and i built on a successful first season. Using a possession based 4231 I won the league. But, i struggled away from home against the top 7 teams. I noticed in the Data Hub, Next opposition - it tells you how they play... based on that I want to use my three tactic slots to have a possession based tactic, a high pressing tactic and a tactic to break down the decensive bottom teams. My plan is: 1/ if say playing Everton - Wingplay, like to overlap. I would use pissession, but use TI's to force them inside. 2/Arsenal, Spurs - play possession based and like to build from the back - use the high press and stifle them using TI's to mark trigger their defensive players 3/ match other possession based teams with my Possession tactic but use TI's to trigger press their front 5 as i use a mid block/ Standard line. Does this approach work? Or stick to the possession based, except ill lose some games and keeping building the best team? Thanks

This worked a treat!!! I beat Fulham 9:0 lol. Can I ask some questions: 1- is this because i am a good team, or can the dropping lines apply to midtable teams (if they have poor tacklers, pressers) 2- any changes you would make away from home, especially the top three teams. I bought Ugarde. I could play a double pivot of Casemiro BWM Ugarde (vol) and change Fernandez to a AP.

Bump ^^^ Also... does anyone have thoughts on playing a virtical possession based tikki tac as the stronger team,playing an aggressive virtical tikku tac against teams who just sit back and a fluid counter attack when away against stronger teams? I have Arsenal away in the CC (i beat then at home) the City away. I was going to use the Fluid Counter on positive, sit back and use the Pace of Rashford, Sancho and Evanilson ... does this work?

I started a new Game as Man United. Im doing well with a tactic i tweaked. Im second after 12 games with 27 points and walking the Europa League Group. I seem to struggle away from home. A few draws, but in away games the opposition have the majority of highlights and eventually score. I dominate at home. I looked at the data hub. It says i am very good defensively and 'even better in attack'. My tackling seems dreadful and i dont seem to be winning the ball high up the pitch? Can i fix this?i dont have any personal instructions. Anthony is also sitting in the 'passive shooting low quality box?'

I am in season 4 with West Ham. I have built a good team and I am currently challrnging for the Prem League and came second in the Champions league league. I played Wolves away which is a banana skin. I saw they down the wings and get the ball into the box (data hub). I showed the players inward and 'stopped' crosses and completly outplayed them. Next game was Blackburn in the FA Cup. They play out from the back, and play a possession game. I showed the midfileders and wingers to play out wide and pushed them outwide. I also pressed their centre backs. I outplayed them and win 1:0. Are these two games against much weaker teams or do people do this? How do you play against Gengen press and direct play?

Amazing...thank you The only reason i play standard defensive line is beacuse i find every game the AI will punt a ball over the top from all over the fueld and their striker runs on and scores? I have tried Opposition instructions to stop this, but dropping the line helps... Do you just man mark their AF if they play 4231 or 433 or us there an other option. Thanks

Thank you. I am suprisingly doing quite well as West Ham, but with lack of scoring (average 1 per game) and lack of consistancy. Ill beat City away 1-0 and lose 3-1 away at 18th Watford. I did see that Paqueta had 8 tacking as DLP and Gomez (WB) has 7 🙄. I have swapped out Paqueta and told gomez to ease of tackes. Any suggestions to create a little more? I have shoot more often on the front 3 but im not getting much out of them in terms of goals.

Hello, Can you help me to fix the below tackling issue?? Its telling me my ratio is very poor. Im West Ham. They were constantly relegation candidates but i got them mid table. In the next season im currently 5th.

Dont think you can. Try and you tube the tactic. They often break it down. Have a look at old man phil (on youtube). He uses a interesting tactic. He breaks that down

I have played FM Touch for a few years and if i looked in assistant report it would give me a list of pros and cons. In the scout reports i could also see the green list of pros and red list of cons for the opposition. It would also say their weakness etc and best players. This isnt in FM 23 Touch but its in the msin game? Or am i looking in the wrong place?
