Though I am still playing, and in the same save, I am no longer at that team. If I run into it again I will document it and take multiple saves. You could close out this though. I appreciate y'all following up.

It's working as expected for me now. Report card is generated for trialists and is available post trial end.

The issue lasts further into a save, so it wasn't a short term issue. It may have to do with the shortness of time spent at the club, however matches were played.

Software development is not as cut and dry as, it used to be this way, make it that way again. The request to revise the existing functionality, has been noted by the development at SI team. The level of effort for the change and the potential impact are causing it to be deprioritized. Chill. They see it. They will fix it. When they can. Consistently complaining about something, that is at it's core, not a bug, will not make it take less effort.

I recreated the issue on several saves of mine as well.
Terminated trialists seem to be getting added to the Discard List
