  1. Agree. The choices now are:

    1. Don't change your line up and layer positions

    2. If you do change, fiddle endlessly with set pieces (2-4 minutes per game)

    3. Accept you'll miss opportunity as you don't have time to keep changing the line up.

We get the fact you can save set pieces. If you rotate your team and have an "alternative" formation to use in cases where your gameplan is not working, the # of saved set pieces can really add up. I had to impose a naming structure...

    e.g.

formation 1, Tall CB, Tall CF & Tall RW

formation 2, Tall CB, Tall CF & Short RW

    etc.

As @Tryllefot suggests, it would be great if the interface allowed us to anchor players to positions.

  2. One frustrating part of the game is trying to figure an appropriate trait based upon the attributes of a player. So much time is wasted putting suggestions to the coaches whereby you get a polite but curt response indicating you "chose poorly".

I know the objective of the devs is not to annoy & humiliate the player, but the seemingly endless cycle of rejection, where the relevant coach does a virtual eye-roll, is not a productive use of time. In fact it creates a huge time barrier that discourages players from engaging in training.

Can the Devs make the selection easier by prompting the player manager on the traits that would succeed.? A green tick or highlighting the traits would save a lot of time.

  3. Is there a way to add information on the 2nd & 3rd Nationality of players to this scout briefing card?

I am playing in Italy in Serie A. My interest in this wonderful talent from Uraguay will be a lot higher if player has EU citizenship. When I was in Serie B the rules made me interested to know if he has Italian citizenship as that is the loophole in the strict lower league rules in Italy.

There is no way to confirm the 2nd nationality other than clicking into the player and then clicking to the Information tab.

The lack of this information slows the review process as I don't recall the nationality of the many wonderfully named newgens I've sent the scouts to look into (I play with attribute masking).

  4. I'm talking about the tiki-taka short corners that pass the ball to the corner taker as soon as the pass initially is made so the off side is guaranteed. It would not be hard to make the player do what real people do and move to an onside position ASAP the pass is made.

  5. Yes, please provide more details to this area.

One objective is to increase the commercialization of a club. It will be great to get some visibility of how to make the club more visible to achieve such an objective.

  6. It has taken a few season for me to understand these rules.

Relating to the 2nd point marked by the * character. Is it possible to change the game to allow the club managers to nominate the players who will take on the non-EU slots. At the current time it appears (may be wrong) that it works on a first in first out (FIFO) system.

Thus, if you sign a U20 player who will not be first team ready, then sign a player who is ready for the senior team, the first player will get the slot as they were signed first. If you understand what is being stated, it would be preferable to allow the club to choose between the 2 when the slots become available so the club may ensure the player who is ready to play is given preference.

  7. It does not happen with every injury. Even if you are trying to support players with sport scientists and physios, most players in the U18-Reserves will have a few semi serious injuries over a 2-5 year period. I've noted such events will drop bravery. As noted as part of rehab it would be great to add the rehabilitation of bravery.

  8. I notice players who get injuries lose considerable bravery over a 2-4 year period. That is fine if Bravery starts at 18, very annoying if it starts at 10. Please let bravery regenerate during the rehab process like other stats.

An observation is that injuries that diminish bravery occur too often when doing a youth save. By the time most players reach 23 they've had a 2-4 events that drop bravery (if characteristic Injury Proneness is not red). You are incentivising buying players from AI clubs over home grown. Please tweak the code or allow bravery to regenerate with rehab.

  9. I don't bother using the player trade feature, as the few times I've tried, I find after the trade has been in action for a few days the player I want to trade out from my club is not interested in going to the suggested club. This is for players that indicate they are keen to talk to other clubs. Is there a way to provide a prompt noting whether a player wants to participate in the trade, when the trade is suggested? Until such a feature I will continue to be reluctant to engage in player trades.

Sorry if there is a feature I missed. I have tried to carefully look to find such a feature.

  10. Please adjust the AI offers for players to remove the "take it or leave it" loans with fixed Preferred Position which the club does not play.

I can't see anyone wanting to buy a game if they know a player & their agent will blow up when the coding boxed them into a corner. It has been the pattern that the AI provides with "profitable" loans. The loan is only available with set condition, and the most annoying is the fixed position which is built to set up tedious, manufactured conflict.

E.g. a FB / WB. The offer from the club is to play as FB. The club changes coaches & the new coach plays WB not FB. The manager wastes times with an angry player who plays _every week_ as a WB not a FB making demanding the "problem" to be fixed. How can I put it, _there is no problem, it is bad coding_.

In the following example Avellino 1912 plays 4-2-3-1, but if they choose to play 4-3-3 or another system later I really don't enjoy the waste of time messages if the team plays this player in either CM, ST, L AM or R M. I am happy the player is playing.

The player who asked for a loan to get _more playing time_ should not care if the deal up front would only play them on limited conditions. The wanted to go on load to get game time. The only person who should care is me if the experience is wrong. The only person who should set "take it or leave it" on position played is me. As the club that owns his employment contract I want a specific type of player. When I loan players I want flexibility, not strict conditions.

Please take this seriously. It is tedious. I love this game. I really hope I can persuade a change. You can make loans challenging in other ways that are logical.

  11. Please add to the planning schedules (my suggestions are listed below) the official winter breaks. I've played in multiple leagues - Switzerland, France & now Italy and I find it difficult to plan my squads during these times as I can not confirm from any in game source when winter & summer breaks will begin & end. I note the press in conferences know, whereas I have to wait for the in game announcement for certainty over the dates.

Please also add for U23/Reserves and U18 as I normally draw on players from these teams during busy times during the season which (if you are involved with Europe) can overlap the breaks.

    My suggestions:

    1. Training - Calendar

    2. Schedule - Fixtures (when arranging Friendlies)

    3. Schedules - Calendar

    4. Schedules - Events
