I have only one day of rest between a Europa League Quarter Final (thursday) and a Premier League Match (saturday afternoon). Is that normal? Bit harsh...

Something else: When I want to see a match at the same day my team is playing, but at a completely different time, I get the message "You can't visit a match on the same day that your team is playing."
Surely there exists TV in the fictional world of Football Manager?

Why is there no 'Give a speech' option in the 'Quick Sub' window, but only in the Tactics window? This seems so strange and counter-intuitive to me. The 'Quick sub' window is the place to make subs!

I've tried copying your exact formation and I've already noticed that my attacking players have a lot more space now. Nice.

Very interesting read. I've been using 4231 with two regular MC's myself and that has brought me a lot of nice results. When I'm ahead in the second half I often revert back to two DMC's with the AMR as MR, AMC as MC and AML as ML to have more players behind the ball. But I'm guessing the same effect could be created by simply changing certain instructions rather than changing the formation.

Yeah I don't really know if this should be added or if this is an issue at all. But I do find that, although I love FMC, there is less connection with the players as a manager. I mean in FMC you basically only talk to players when they come to you for being unhappy and those conversations never end well (or so it seems). Yes I think that it's wonderful that you don't have to talk to your players in FMC, but I do feel that due to the absence of interaction there is also a lack of connection.
I don't know if it's just me, if it is even an issue, how you would solve it, etc. And I'm certainly not saying that they should add player interaction to FMC (please don't!!!). But a bit of feedback about how you deal with players should be nice maybe?

Snow was in FM2010.It was indeed. However out of playing it almost all year until the new one came out, i didn't play the demo. I only saw snow, in one match, two days before the new one came out. Out of possibly a thousand matches in England and around europe in C/L there was only one with snow, sleet or hail, iin this instanec it happened to be snow. I imagine tons of people never saw any snow.
Yeah I managed in Denmark for 10 years and didn't see any snow there at all in FM2010.

In one of the first versions of FM (07 I think) Brazilian players really had a habit of becoming homesick. Very frustrating :S

Last week I started an experiment to see what would happen if I started a save as a female manager, to see if it would make any difference. I couldn't think of a name, so thank God for MTV! (you'll see what I mean).
Anyway that's beside the point. Have a close look at the options at the bottom and you will see the result of starting as a female manager:
