  1. End of season one.

The young players are incredible this year, and have helped no end. Decided Nketiah blowing hot and cold was too much for me so sent him off on loan to Inter and he helped them win Serie A so hopefully it becomes permanent too.

Reuell stepped up well, as did Nwanieri

Great season to be fair, bar hiccups with injury moments where at points I was overloaded with no fit center backs, it all came good in the end.

Many familiar faces I guess have come in, a fair few stayed on loan until the end of the season which helped me sort out and phase out Jorginho/Elneny/Nketiah and others over the season too

Special Mention to Toney and his champions league final goal to send us on our way! adds a new dynamic to the way we play up top and wasn't too expensive so can get a couple of years out of him and hopefully move him on for near cost if possible also.

Looking to rebuild ready for the new season and to push forward with more rotation and hopefuly do it all again.

Time to dive into learning training better as I do feel I'm leaving a lot of progress on the table there, anyone else?

@Kieran87 What's your style of play? Cause i do think Lokonga is a more then decent back up with good potential.

Just found Lokonga was too "safe" a player and didn't express with the ball how I like. Koop and even Patino so far are both more expansive and will move with the ball. Sambi would literally go left or right and I despise that In henderson IRL so couldn't bare to have 1 of mine doing it in game ahahaha

Been a tad busier so far this summer window now budgets are here.

Got Pepe off the bill, plus AMN, Mari, Holding and an assortment of youth that just wouldn't get game time. I had been playing Quamina and even Lino Sousa last season but when I found some of these scandinavians I knew they wouldn't get a game on the left

Working on trying to get Balogun first team time, with Nketiah and Bierith may prove difficult so perhaps one goes back out on loan.

Walters/Brooke along with Azeez & Patino will have a place around the first team this coming season too. Also fancy seeing how I can fare with Trusty. A BIG Centreback that might be good enough for lower half games to take the strain until I decide on Ndicka/Gvardiol or Rensch

  3. Finished season 1

Interesting season, lost opening game of season in a demolishment from Utd. then Smashed Chelsea 5 days later and it went upwards from there.

Cruised the Europa with a 1st leg loss to Utd 3-1 and then return a 5-0 drubbing at Home with a final victory that we cantered to

Not really anything notable bar getting Xhaka and Lokonga off the wage bill in January as just didn't fit my style of play - so went out on loan with mandatory future fees set.

Found something odd though, Odegaard player of the tournament but not in the team of the tournament.

Onwards now though, Just bought it Tyler Adams on a rotation basis and looking at Endrick from Brazilian league with another CDM to nab to add depth as Elneny off for free and Nelson off too so perhaps another RW backup on the cards.

  4. Kings Lynn town in the National League itself. One of the few/ only part time clubs in the national league, in their first ever season at that level. It's the highest they have ever been.

Centering around Adam Marriot and the loanees at the club, it would be cool to see if you can turn them into a league side with a small ground, low budget and low expectations it may be a good fit.

  5. You have youngsters like Patino that are being quoted as amazing from every youth manager that faces the team, plus Catalin keeps being called up to first team training amongst others.

The Arsenal youth setup is VERY good in the uk, and many, many head off to Spain, Italy, Ligue 1 and Championship/prem. Many in this side right now would be hard pressed to compete as a full season as a simulation of the under 23's and to be near top half of the table... they win most if not all youth competitions across many age groups.

Saka is an England squad starter and should be rated as such, Balogun and Martinelli should be adapted at least also.

I was more just making a point that many other top half squads in the prem keep a large portion of their youngsters, Arsenal in game will shift 9/10ths inside 18 months

    image.thumb.png.edad8d10e516dc83e48b6291d5882577.png

The game feels bizarre, Nketiah is like the second coming of Christ and last years Haaland rolled into one, he rarely starts but when he does he gets a brace, otherwise on at 59/60 mins and averages almost a goal a game ...

I bought Depay to rotate on the left side as Auba ( along with Tierney and Partey) seems Injury prone and he is doing alright.image.thumb.png.6c9897a069896ad5b050ccfaf12713b8.pngimage.thumb.png.14323a1cfb37e679e883e071fd3473af.png

Again though, a tad upset or annoyed at how few youngsters at Arsenal seem or feel like they can move up to the first team. They win loads at youth levels and many move onto other clubs at high levels too. Utd and others seem to have more than two handfuls that go on to be world beaters and we have less than 1.

This feels like a very weird beta right now and basic formations seem very strong right now.

  7. Won the Prem in my first season; it was ridiculously close:

With the final game of the season almost throwing it ....
    image.thumb.png.3a35a712f7683d3a30f7190132685167.png

We had some HUGE results along the way, notably,

    image.thumb.png.a27c572b310b765ebfd04e3e7ba7729c.png

    Fa Cup was also ours:
    image.thumb.png.caa7ee41fe103e00efe24c993fa4247e.png

And the Europa League was a pretty easy run and a hard fought win in the final vs. Utd too.
    image.thumb.png.259d7b90d829ecd5f0dca718a847dc55.png

I set up like this with variations of a 4-4-2 and a 4-2-3-1 as other options based on the opposition.

Liverpool just won't leave my side, it's so competitive and I love it... Although some of the transfers seem ludicrous...

Gabriel Martinelli hasn’t been performing for Me as IF or PF despite giving him tons of starts.

is this related to random ability generator of the ME? Will restarting a new game help?

    Thanks guys

    Short answer, nope.

Long answer, he thrives in a role where he plays off someone with lots of forward runs and movement also.

eg. playing him with Ozil doesn't work for me as he is lazy with his tracking, if you have him with Laca and a pressing midfielder with a high block, at least for me, I get the most out of him.

amazing tactic knap! managed 114 points on previous fm with one of your tactics, but this one outperforms in each department, so many goals from all over the place. From my experience this one tops it. great job again

Got a link to the download for this please?

I want to do some looking under the hood to see where the exploit is. If I can find it I can then give us any formation and the same results pretty much.

    Cheers

I beat them 6-1 in the 4th game of the season with Aubameyang getting five goals and Pavon one.  My problem is Kolasinac has got booked five times in 7 games !!

    How are you setup?

i have a 4-1-2-2-1 setup myself - With all the back 4 on support duties with a Regista sitting behind a Mes and a bbm. It works well but I do no get anything near like your stats there.

    Could you share?

Im interested to know who you would class as the holding midfielder in the first formation? Im guessing the MC (d) as the whilst the roaming playermaker is playing the DM position, hes much more vital to the attacking moves than the defensive ones, plus he will roam too much?

that seems correct. He even mentions about limiting the roaming from the Cm(d) as he has roaming and chasing down the ball as default - so you can "turn them off" to better suit a holding midfielder.

Looking at his images - the cm(d) drops then the rpm moves about. but still keeps near enough to the ball at all times in attack to I guess either recycle possession or offer a smart , simple outlet.
