I can definitely understand that. I'd hope they'd at least make an attempt to include it in its current unlicensed form though? IE how they do all their other unlicensed leagues.

I think a lot of folks (myself included) find it super hard to play as an MLS team without players properly developing on loans to lower league clubs + affiliates. There's also not really even an attempt to properly simulate the youth structure, which can be simulated accurately in a simplified manner like in other countries (u18 league, u23 league, reserve league).

 

Oh and the AI still cannot figure out how to build an MLS roster / do trades.

Not sure where else to post this, but it would be super cool to see some support for the US lower leagues in the game. The USL and NISA have really been taking off recently, and I think there is a lot of interest in the leagues.

Thank you so much for the database @anitamui,  Where would a new 2nd/B MLS Team be placed? LAFC doesn't have a B team and most databases I try to set one up for them in places them in the lower leagues, which is annoying at times.

This is why I'm probably going to wait for custom USA league databases to come out before I do an MLS save. Wait for Uncle Sam or one of them to fix the USA pyramid for SI. I love SI and this year's edition of FM is ****ing amazing, but as a fan from the US it hurts a little bit to see the US leagues so broken.

Is there any possibility of making an "Unlocked" version of this db? I'd love to play MLS without most/any salary or rules, but keep stuff like the drafts. Something like just a minimum # of US players? Your db is nearly perfect regardless, I've loved playing it so far.
