  1. My current save is Cardiff City. I have been asked to make the most of the team's youth setup. Having done some research I understand that national youth rating is pretty important in determining the order in which newgens are distributed among teams. My question is this: does Cardiff City use Wales' youth setting, as this is its home country, or England's, as this is the league City plays in?Any help would be welcome. Thank you.
  2. In my current save, I have a Loan Manager with excellent statistics but he doesn't do anything. In the development centre, I have several players highlighted who need to go out on loan. I have added them to the Development List. Under Responsibilities, I have asked the Loan Manager to take care of offering out players for loan. I have set 50% for both playing and non-playing time, have set preference for Regular Starter as a minimum and asked the Loan Manager to look for teams that have at least average facilities. Every time I look at the Development List in the Transfer Section, all my players have "Not Started" next to their names. It doesn't matter what I do, each time I go back to the Transfer Section, I see the same message. Not one of my players has been offered out on loan all season. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might do to change things? Thanks, in advance. Gruff66
  3. Some clubs work extremely hard to develop their relationship with the local community. I know that there is a training slot available for this, but this impacts teamwork and morale. It should also impact the fan base. Clubs could develop close links with local schools, youth clubs, hospitals, etc, which would more closely reflect the fact that some clubs are community hubs, not just football teams. Whatever one thinks of him, Rashford, for example, is a very community focused player. There are many others.
  4. I'd like the option of sending all staff for continuing professional development, not just coaches. Fitness coaches, physios, sports scientists, statisticians should all benefit from training. Connected to this, I'd like to see potential as well as current ability data available for staff as it is for players. An experienced DoF or TD should be able to distinguish between staff who are capable of improvement and those who are not - else, why waste money on them? You would simply go on qualifications and nothing else.
  5. I'd like an option for the manager to set instructions for where a youth player should be played. It's frustrating when you set training for a player to learn how to play wing back in a supporting role (a choice which is natural for the player and fills a future gap for the first team) but the U18 or U23 manager regularly has him play central defender or wing; or when you want a youth player to hone his set piece delivery skills, but his manager wants something else. I don't want to have to micromanage every U23/U18 game to be able to oversee the development of my hot prospects - and neither should I have to. The U23/U18 manager should answer to me.
  6. Is it possible to implement a system whereby you set certain principles for training and let the assistant manager do the rest? For example, when trying to develop team cohesion, tell the AM that each week he has to allocate one session of Extra-Curricular and one Teamwork and let him sort out the rest?
  7. I'd like to see an option for the manager to directly address a player's complacency, both during and after a game. "Focus" doesn't seem to work in-game, no matter what your manager skill-set is. And there is no close option in post-match feedback.
