Try running in Windowed mode as shown below:

    - Open Steam and access your Games Library
    - Right-click on Football Manager 2020 -> Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options
    - Type this in the box: -small_screen -windowed
    - Click on OK, close the window and launch FM20 through Steam

I've done that too. Still blank 'til now

Just to confirm have you done as shown below?

First of all, right-click on your desktop and select 'New' -> 'Folder'

Create a folder and name it something to distinguish it (say SI backup)

Once you've done this go to your Sports Interactive folder found within 'documents' which by default is at the following location - C:\Users\[YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020

This should contain folders like 'games', 'crash dumps' etc. Please cut every folder from here and paste them into the folder you've created on your desktop.

Once you've done this and the Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020 folder is now empty, launch the game. If it works, copy back the files from the desktop folder and hopefully it should now load without any issues.

I've done that. But still blank when I launched the game

  3. Hi everyone.

Just downloaded and installed FM20 via steam, on load though - I just get a black screen and a cursor.

FYI I've tried all the fixes for similar problems on previous games:

    • Re-Install
    • Install DirectX
    • Delete Cache and Preferences Folder
    • Verifying Game Files
    • No Antivirus except Windows Defender
    • Graphic Cards are up to date (In FM19 I have a similiar case, it solved when I install graphic card via ASUS website. But when I updated the graphic card, the game is always blank when launch until now. So, I have this blank problem in both my FM19 and FM20)

    Any help would be appreciated.
