Is this still an issue in FM23?

Alright, so it shouldn't even be visible on the contract screen, when I sign a player? Saying something like "Due to board restrictions you are only able to sign players on a one year contract".

I guess waiting is the answer, but it's a little annoying when one of my new objectives is to "sign players with a potential to be sold". Hard to sell players when their contract is always close to expiring.

Hello everyone.

I started a career with Danish 1st division side Fremad Amager. We are having a bit of economic issues to say the least. The board started off by selling my training facilities and my transfer options have still been extremely limited. 

However, after the first season with a mid table position secured we have now changed our status to professional (yay!). I am still only able to sign contracts for maximum one year. I believe this is related to our financial status, but I cannot find the information about the restrictions anywhere and since we sold the training facilities my balance has been quite stable on 26 million danish kroner (around 2,5 million pounds). So, just to make sure this isn't a bug, could you help me find the place where it actually says something like "You can only sign player contracts for a period of one year"? And also: when would this be changed? Do I need to raise money, earn the trust of the board or both?
