Playoff for Serie A title, can't see why

Apparently, this is a thing in Serie A at the moment. https://www.espn.co.uk/football/italian-serie-a/story/4692513/serie-a-will-decide-scudetto-winner-by-playoff-in-case-of-tie-in-the-table Strange that there is no mention of this in the 'Rules' section of Serie A in-game. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding. -
Managing Napoli/Parthenope. After 38 games, we are tied in 1st place with Inter on points (84 pts), results between teams (1-0 and 1-2, no mention of away goals so 2-2 tie) and goal difference (+47). The game sets a playoff between us, I assume for the title. However, according to the rules stated in-game, league sorting rules are: i) Results between teams (tied) ii) Goal difference (tied) iii) Goals scored (Napoli: 79 goals, Inter: 70 goals) Is this a coding error or am I missing something? Screenshots for clarification.
