  1. Right then, i've tried all of that, but i don't think it's going to work! Might have to start afresh then! Thanks for the suggestions
  2. Thanks for the help, I'll try that! Do you know if the graphics folder for FM11 is supposed to be empty, or if it's meant to have something in it? Because mine is empty after deleting the add-ons. If there is anything that's supposed to be in there, do you know where i could download a new one?
  3. Hi everyone, My FM2011 keeps on crashing at the same point, 18th of June, 2020, on every save game that i have. It comes up with the message "A serious error was encountered and the application will close. An error file has been generated in.." (it then gives a file name). I've tried a lot of the things suggested in other thread such as disk defragmenting and a disk cleanup, as well as using my backup (which meant simming a whole season! ) and that crashed at exactly the same time too! I haven't changed anything with the database, but i was recently trying to put in new logos and kits onto the game, but not with a lot of success! Is there anything else i could try? Because i would rather not have to start all over again and lose this save! Thanks in advance!
  4. it's about how good a manager is at training his players at that specific statistic. the part where it says "preferred style" or something to that effect, is about what style he will use.
  5. Benitez on mine atm. When Fergie was sacked the job went to Aguirre then someone else who was terrible, and now to Benitez
  6. It is very wrong. Just what is this world coming too.
  7. FM05 - Cisse, Rothen and Diego FM06 - Didn't play FM07 - Carlos Javier Acuna and Jamie Hibbert (GK Regen - love is not a strong enough word. He was my captain at age 23 and a permanent fixture.) FM08 - Fernando Torres, Cavani, Pato
  8. way too extreme imo. It would be realistic but it wouldn't be good, i think that's where the line needs to be drawn.

Milan League wins - 17 Liverpool League wins - 18 Milan Euro Cup - 7 Liverpool Euro Cup - 5 Milan Coppa Italia - 5 Liverpool FA Cup - 7 Milan Italian Super Cup - 5 Liverpool League Cup - 7 they seem pretty equal to me with both teams also being in fourth place of their respective leagues. so while he may not be right, i'm sure there have been more obscene and stupid comments made. To answer the question, i would stay with Liverpool as you chose them to begin with, but it depends where your heart is.
  10. I always struggle againt Bolton as Liverpool as well, because their goalie is immense (not a dig at all.) Derby are also a bogie team of mine, particularly because of Andy Keogh who always scores against me.

Cancel the deal or i quit. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> Thats actually a very good suggestion. When it says the board has gone over your head, it should come up at the bottom right hand corner like it does when they reject a request, giving you the chance to offer an ultimatum. You'd only use it on your best players when you feel the offer isn't good enough, and should be coded that they actually do back down sometimes...only on the very best players though. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> very good suggestion indeed
  13. i have one set formation that i have used for about 8 seasons with individual player settings being changed to suit certain players that i bring in the thing i concentrate on is team talks and opposition instructions at the beginning of the match.
  14. if you're willing to pay that much, do it but i get the feeling that you're not. 123 million is very steep and you coud get someone (not as good as ronaldo, but better than Eboué) for a lot less. check the good players forum for tips
  15. "He's not the Messiah. He's a very naughty boy." i actually lol'd and yes, i've had the "teach real football" message a couple of times, but they often just become subdued after a while (in my experience) but the tutoring sounds like a good idea.
