  1. I ran a few tests with different combos, and my conclusion is that even with using mezzala or central mid to do overlap or underlap run, it is usually not as effective as FB/WB overlap simply because they are normally slower than FB/WB. I might reconsider my attacking front 5/6, though, because ifb, libero combo is a very stable combo when forming the 3-2 in rest defense, but front 5 may lack a little bit of pace to break down the opponent.
  2. OMG, I have the same question. For me, overlapping runs are a great automatism to unlock defense and I'm struggling to replicate that without attacking FB/WB. Since using 3-2 build up with 2 IFB and Libero, I have to switch to underlapping run with central mid-attack, and it's just not as effective. I tried with mezzala, but they just don't combine with IFs to make overlapping runs often enough. And how do you guys improve your attack, I mean, my 5 Attacking players do score, but a lot of the time it comes from individual abilities, long shots,... Underlapping run do happen with central midfield, but they often shoot rather than pass the ball to free agents
