Can we just clarify what you're saying is wrong with the rule?

It states you cannot register more than 10 U20 players, so it seems to be working as intended?

It seems weird to be capped with 10 u20 players for a u21 competition with 30 slots. Not even a full squad. I assumed it was a bug, but i guess China is a weird place.

Kyle Guangzhou FC has financial trouble would have to offload as needed to accommodate new ownership take-over.

Did 2001 NYT loaned too strong/over aged players that should be starting as U23 at other club 1st teams to get promoted, or the newgen they can call were generated too strong?

It could be the reason, i found it weird enough to report it as a bug.

They just had no transfer activity during a season which seems odd. ('prêt' means loan)

We'll investigate this and see what's going on regarding the releasing of players.

The loaning by China PR National is expected and working as intended. :)

If it was working as intended, they would have a team other than grey players. Due to that, they got relegated. The previous/following season, they used loans. But not in the one following the save.

  4. Luckily, i have got a save. Name: SA IA end of contract

To be honest, I am not sure what triggers those compensations. Maybe because he is 18yo. I also noticed it happens between clubs controlled by the IA. During this mercato, I noticed 4 suspicious transfers. It seems to be always the same pattern, a second division team signs a youth from a top division, despite those high fees. 18 months later, 2 of them have been released by their new club.

To give you an idea, the second division budget is around 1m€/season. And most of the second division teams are bleeding money .

Are you meaning the league table should show the top 4 spots highlighted?

Yes. Even on previous seasons with less spots available, the information in the rules panel was wrong.

Also, do any of the continental qualification spots comes via the domestic cup?

The domestic cup gives access to the confederation cup. With it, there are 5 continental spots every season.

Save name : South Africa YT 13

Really sorry for the lack of response here. The Beta forums are particularly busy initially and sometimes threads will slip through the net when we're responding.

Could you confirm whether this is still an issue after the latest update? If so, I'll get this moved across to the main forums and we can get it investigated promptly.

Thanks again for taking the time to raise this.

Thanks for your answer. Since then, I noticed with better facilities, youths improve in a normal way. Given the protest in the general section about youth development (here), I would say it is still an issue. Right now, with bad facilities, loans seems the only way, other than gametime in the first team, to expect some improvements with youth players.
