  1. When will you fix the issue of Norwegian clubs not registering their new signings?
  2. The perennial problem with Norwegian clubs not registering their new signings persists. They show up as "unregistered" and never play in the league during the season when they're signed. This must be dealt with!
  3. Hello, I have been getting this error message ("the Steam servers are too busy to handle your request at the moment") for almost a week now. It is so incredibly annoying and I have absolutely no idea what to do, despite having tried a whole host of potential fixes. Can you please help me?
  4. I am experiencing the same error.
  5. Would be nice to ask your scout to make a highlight video of scouted players, with goals, tackles, saves, key passes, crosses etc so you can get an impression of how the player plays and if his playing style fits into your side.. Would also like to see scouting agencies, so that if you rarely scout any players or are in financial trouble you can hire a scout from an agency to go on scouting trips or to compile reports on players for a fee...
  6. Transfer news: Alta are looking for a right winger, and according to our sources, they have made an offer for Edmond Chappy from Mjølner. Alta's next star?
  7. I'd love some feedback
  8. Results in April-May Note: The game against Hødd was my first in charge. We started off with a great away win against strugglers Hødd, before crashing out of the cup against the minnows from Harstad. We went on to a loss against Sandefjord, one of the top teams, before taking a great win at home over Start. The draw against Notodden was slightly disappointing. We're currently sitting in 8th out of 16 in the table, 2 points away from a play-off spot, and 4 points away from relegation. The players who stood out were particularily the striker Ngom, who impressed with his great pace and strength as well as showing good goal-scoring abilities, and CB Dujilo, who not only was very good at the back, but also scored two great goals.
  9. Alta IF is probably the world's furthest north football club to play at a somewhat reasonable level. The team plays in the Norwegian 1st division. The conditions this far north are so harsh that the team has to play their home games indoors, in the Finnmark Hall. Their current spell in the 1st division has lasted since 2008, although the team was relegated IRL this season. Note that I took charge after 6 games, so the transfers aren't mine. Prediction - 13.: Predicted to be relegated as in IRL, but I think we will stay up, as the team has some quality players. Status: Semi-Professional Finances: OK Chairman status: Loves the Club Stadium: Finnmarkshallen. Capacity 4000 (1000 seated) Medium database, Norwegian to 2nd level, English to BSP and Spanish to 2nd Division B loaded. Key Players: Svein-Ove Thomassen: Quality playmaker who can dribble and shoot. Lacks pace, though. Lukasz Jarosinski: The pole is a very reliable keeper at this level. Toni Lindberg: Top quality CB. Very good in the air and a threat from set pieces too. Rune Ertsås: A striker with Prem experienced. Pacy and good in front of goal. Tactic: We'll try to sit deep with many men behind the ball, before launching a counter attack with long balls towards Ertsås.
  10. Hey I bought the Beta through FM-Scout a couple of weeks ago. Now it won't update to the full version. I've tried to close and restart it several times. What should I do?
  11. In the previous games, it's been impossible to tell whether a player has picked up a light or a bad injury during a game. What I would like to see in FM13 is a physio report after the injury, saying roughly what kind of injury he believes it to be. The injury system should also get a lot more dynamic, with recovery times being affected by whether or not the player needs surgery, and that injuries might take longer to heal than what you first thought. Injury-prone players should be more prone to some injuries than others. Say if a player has broken the same leg twice, then there is a huge risk that if he breaks the same leg he will have to retire. These are all realistic features I would like to see.
  12. Local transfers would be no harder than that players would prefer a local club over other clubs. Clubs should of course also look for players only in their area. Something I forgot: It would be cool having players contacting you saying that they have moved to your town or country to study or build their career, and that they would like to come for a trial. Last, I would like to see your coaches maling a report on your trialists, saying what their weaknesses and strengths are, etc, with a recommendation to sign or not.
  13. The number one priority for next year's game has to be transfer realism. I feel this is the one area where the game is lacking. 1: Players and staff joining old managers. If a manager has been giving them lots of playing time or the player performed well under that manager, the player is more than happy to link up with that manager. As a human manager, I've experienced this several times, picking up players who performed well for me before, even though they were on the bench of another team. I would like to see that from AI teams too 2: Players joining hometown clubs or clubs close to home: Very common occurence, player should also get homesick if they play in another part of their country. 3: Players join local clubs more often. E.G., how often do you see a Conference player or even lower moving left, right and centre across the UK? 4: Recommending players and manager friendships: If you manage a PL/FLC team, a manager from the FL1/2 you have a good relationship with might approach you and say he needs e.g. a midfielder, and if you have player you would like to loan out or give away. If you manage a lower league club you can ask yourself. Also, you can recommend a player without the other manager asking, like if you have a player who has been a total flop or a triallist who doesn't cut it, you can send him a message saying that we're not interested in these players, but maybe you would like them? And sometimes, the other manager might do a favour back, like lower transfer fees if you buy one of his players. 5: Players going down to get playing time: We often see players struggling for playing time who are so desperate that they drop a level, even two, on loan or free transfer, to get a club or get playing time, eventhough they are way too good for the level. What do you think about these suggestions?

  15. I try to invent stories like (if a old star from abroad signs with a small Norwegian team) that he has found a smokin' hot Norwegian blonde and has moved with her to that little Norwegian place....
