    The draw for the play-off round was held on 2 August 2021, 13:00 CEST.[23]

    A total of 20 teams played in the play-off round. The teams were seeded into four "priority groups":

    • Priority 1: 6 teams which entered in this round.
    • Priority 2: 6 losers of the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round (Champions Path), whose identity was not known at the time of the draw
    • Priority 3: 5 winners of the third qualifying round (Champions Path), whose identity was not known at the time of the draw
    • Priority 4: 3 winners of the third qualifying round (Main Path), whose identity was not known at the time of the draw

    The procedure of the draw was as follows:

    1. The three teams of priority 4 were drawn against teams of priority 1 to produce three ties, until there were no more teams of priority 4 left.
    2. The remaining three teams of priority 1 were drawn against teams of priority 3 to produce three ties, until there were no more teams of priority 1 left.
    3. The remaining two teams of priority 3 were drawn against teams of priority 2 to produce two ties, until there were no more teams of priority 3 left.
    4. The remaining four teams of priority 2 were drawn against each other to produce two ties.

    There was no country protection for this round, thus teams from the same association could be drawn against each other. The first team drawn in each tie would be the home team of the first leg.

    We need to fix ourself (name and kits at least) licences issue that you have in the game this year. 

    I did't buy FMT 2020 becouse Juventus trouble .

    Actually all fixes work. I play with real logos, kits, clubnames and all player faces..

    What was happening was we were still extracting staff from the main FM database who had roles we don't include in FMT (e.g. Data Analyst, Head of Player Development). They were then getting re-classified to the most suitable available role in FMT which was usually Manager, and since many of them had high ability in the database they were coming out with really good attributes.

    Interesting to hear! I was really surprised this bug made it to the FMT game. Was the game braker for me in my longterm save 😔 Now up for a new one. Thank you SI🙏🏼

    As Miles stated in his tweets, getting updates out for FM Touch tends to be trickier than FM for a number of reasons. It is across more platforms so there is a higher chance of platform-specific issues, certain platforms have to go through a submission process which can take time and we need to keep all platforms in sync in order for Cross-Sync to work.

    I can promise you that the team here has been working extremely hard to get this update out as soon as possible and it is very much not a case of FM Touch being neglected or less important.

    It was a very tense time 😉 but a lot of good fixes, even more than expected. Thank you for your efforts and the explanation 🙏🏼

    Lets hope everything works now!

    I'm out of this... FM20 Touch is now uninstalled, and I'm back on FMT19.

    It's so frustrating and unprofessional to run this game like that. I can't figure out why SI still launches such a faulty and unfinished game. I've played FM/CM for more then 20 years and it's still the same. 

    I'll take a look at FMT20 again after January transfer update, perhaps the game is playable again at that time. 

    It was the same last year, but I still have hope

  6. Guys, i think there is a public beta for FMT 2020 ready now. Currently downloading it. Going to test if the UI bugs (no player traits) and regen manager bugs are solved. 

    The public-beta version of the game is available via Steam by following the instruction below.

    - Open Steam
    - Go to 'Football Manager 2020' within your Steam Library
    - Right-Click on the game and select 'Properties'
    - Select the 'Beta' tab
    - Via the 'Select the beta you would like to opt into' dropdown, select 'public beta'
    - Click 'Close'

    Game will start downloading the beta.. 

     

    Never mind, its only for the full game.

    You don’t have regen managers at about half of the clubs? Or you don’t care about realism at all?

  8. After 4 months ingame the FC Twente manager gets sacked, some random regen manager gets appointed. When I look in the staff menu I suddenly see tons of new regen managers.

    Why is there a huge influx of regen managers? Why do they get the managing jobs? And why aren't there enough unemployed managers (https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trainer/verfuegbaretrainer/statistik/0/plus/0/galerie/0?land_id=122&wettbewerb_id=alle&seit=alle&punkteschnitt=0+-+3&filtern_nach_punkteschnitt=0%3B3&0=0&3=3&spielklasse=0&plus=0), to replace the existing managers, like in FMT2019? 

    In FMT2019 sacked managers got replaced by real existing unemployed managers (or good performing managers of smaller clubs), and later ingame retired players became new managers..

     

    Current situation ruins the fun/realism.
