Thanks, Kevin.
What sort of circumstances would these be? How you develop him and how much game time he gets?
Exactly that!

Think Elliot Anderson at Newcastle should have a bit of an upgrade. He's now training with the Newcastle first team (regularly in photos on their website), has been on the bench in the Carabao Cup and is one of the best players in PL 2 Division 2, all while still being eligible for their U18s team. He clearly has a lot of potential and Newcastle rate him highly so this should be reflected in the game. He's also a Scotland U19 international.
He's also signed a new contract until 2024, probably on a first team wage now. More proof of how highly he's rated at the club too.

Thanks for this. We have already updated his contract details, and whilst I agree that he is definitely a prospect - there is still a long way to go for him. I have put his PA at a decent value, and his rating 'in game' will depend on circumstances within that save.

Whoever has done the Newcastle research has done a very good job of reflecting how poor we are in real life, so well done . It will actually be a challenge this year.
Steve Bruce's ratings are too high, however. He should not have a world class rating for defensive coaching (currently set to 17).
We are right at the top of the table for shots conceded this season and we were last season too, with Dubravka making more saves than anyone in the league. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that Steve Bruce is a good defensive coach. In fact, most of our defenders have regressed since he took over from Benitez (Schar, Lascelles, Fernandez all look less solid than they used to). It seems a fairly major data error for the game to suggest he's one of the best in the world in this department. I would drop it from 17 (world class) to 10 (average).
Also, he has a technical coaching attribute of 13. Not sure what he's done in his coaching career to deserve this. Of Premier League managers with over 300 games he has a lower average possession stat than anyone (even lower than the likes of Pulis, Allardyce and Joe Kinnear). Our players are completely incapable of holding onto the ball and succumb to any sort of pressure on the ball. We don't look like a team that receive any technical coaching whatsoever. I would lower this attribute from 13 (good) to 6 (poor).
I would also suggest that a tactical knowledge attribute of 8 is very generous. The guy thinks that tactics = formations and nothing more (that is based on numerous interviews with him, not only my own subjective opinion). I'd lower this from 8 (fair) to 5 (poor).
Thanks for the feedback! I did try and reflect as best I could the attribute ratings of the players, so glad you agree.
Onto Steve Bruce... I take on board what you say. On Tactical Knowledge - I think I am happy with 8, as in my eyes for a Premier League manager, 8 is not a rating which puts him in the bracket of 'top' or even 'average' Premier League managers.
I will ponder the suggested amendments and see where we are at! Thanks again for your feedback 👍

Hello There
Should Newcastle have such low Training and Youth facilities?
Both are rated as "Average" whilst the rest of the league is much higher
Hi there.
It is well known that Newcastle have very under-par facilities compared to other PL clubs. It was a major gripe of the Benitez era and also something the potential new owners of yesteryear also said was in vital need of an upgrade.
Thanks for your feedback though. Vital we have discussions around such matters

Hi Codename,
Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated!
Some changes have already been made ahead of release, including Longstaff, Saivet and Murphy.
Just to highlight some of your suggested changes I have not made;
Jamal Lewis - IMO he has very good stats for a full back at his age, and still has a lot of work to do (although I believe he will get there) to be one of the league's top full backs
Jonjo - You hit nail on head! Best performing CM last season, and remember he was top scorer (scandalous)! I do understand that you don't know what Shelvey will turn up sometimes, but his 'Consistency' rating does not indicate he will 'turn up' every week. One to review in the next research phase.
ASM - I have already made vast improvements across mental, technical and physical attributes since FM20.
Karl Darlow - Again, a widespread increase in attributes has already been implemented.
Federico Fernandez - He still prefers to play on the right side of defence, but due to his consistent partnership with Lascelles he is deployed on the left side.
Cheers,
Kev.
