Been playing FM for years, since it was Champ Man, and like to think of myself as an experienced FM’r! I’ve almost always used a 4-3-3, or a variation of, with possession-based tactics and have always used the Play out of Defence TI, but in FM24, I’m hearing a lot about how this particular instruction can hold a team back, rather than help, particularly if you have talented, creative players to be able to play out.
looking for someone with knowledge and experience of the Play out of Defence TI to tell me the pros and cons of using it, and whether it’s worth it in a possession-based tactic!
