[Promotion in 2026?]

Unfortunately there will be no promotion/relegation in FM24.

For many years we have tried to simulate what will happen on following seasons given the statements and plans from the Liga MX. However, with change of plans every season and the supposed merge between Expansion League and Sub23 League not happening in the end, it was decided to keep the structure of this season for the long haul as it was too late to add new rules for later years.

Hopefully there will be a bit more clarity on time to get pro/rel back for FM25.

Not sure of the cause of this report but he is correctly set in the master database as Pumas U23 manager and also appears in that position in the game editor.

THis is incorrect. Patiño is not even part of the Mexican National Team Youth structure.

This has been fixed in the master database and will appear correctly in the next update.

[No Promotion/Relegation between LigaMX and LigaMX Expansión (Mexico)]

Unfortunately the Liga MX has been so erratic with the handling of promotion/relegation (and this year the supposed "merge" between Expansion League and U23 squads that in the end didn't happen) that for this season it was decided to keep the "season 1" format as the permanent format in the game, as we have no way to predict when/if promotion/relegation will indeed return.

 

I understand the current format is not very appealing, but sadly that's a reflection of real life.

1) Not sure what you mean with "stuffing". 2) An unofficial website doesn't count as "proof". 3) Even the website you posted mentions the  68,954 as the maximum capacity.

 

That number is the "real" maximum capacity as authorized by the city government. However, for league games the used capacity is a smaller number, varying each year. Last season was 48.297, which was the last number we had in the database, and recently that was updated to 58,445 in both Pumas and Liga MX official sites, which will be the number we have in the database for the next update.

[Rodrigo Huescas - Cruz Azul]

This was an unfortunate slip by the assistant researcher in charge of Cruz Azul and ultimately by me. As you mention, when he was created he had a different position than the one he was been assigned as a pro and we should had updated him sooner.

It has been taken care of in the master database and should be fixed for the next data update.

[Club America is set to have 14 League Titles]

This is not a data issue, but a weird bug that adds another line to the history, probably taken from the regular season standings in that tournament.

Please report it on the  "Competition Specific Issues" forum (I'll do it also on my side, but it's always better to have as many reports as possible).

Thanks for your input. We have added Gaytán and González to Pumas' coaching staff; Manrique doesn't seem to be with the team anymore (bear in mind the websites sometimes take too long to update or remove profile pages).

Thanks for the correction. We have updated the data of the stadium. However, as the Liga de Balompié Mexicano has been very unstable since its start and it's outside the official structure of Mexican Federation, we are not keeping track of its rosters and coaches. We do our best to keep the two active leagues updates in full and to also have as much data as possible in the next two divisions, the LBM is just too much for the manpower we have.

Thanks for your input, but when pointing to a likely duplicate it's important to mention the two IDs involved. There are several Mario Trejo in the database but each one has a different date of birth. I couldn't find the Miguel Angel Lotina you're referring too.
