Demo has downloaded and appears to play fine, am I safe to assume full version will work too?

Hey would someone be able to advise if my Mac is able to run FM24 or not? (I know its old and will likely be slow if it does run)

Processor: 2.7GHz Dual Core Intel Core i5

Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536MB

Memory: 8GB 1867 MHz DDR3

MacOS: Ventura 13.0.1

I take back my original doubts, this is certainly the way to go. Switched him and the performances have risen drastically, stats are excellent averaging a goal or assist each since the change and all round play seems to be much better from the highlights of the games

Doesnt quite capture his off the ball work when the team doesn't have the ball. 

 

Him and Martial (surprisingly) are both pressing heavily at the moment under Solskjaer

Been playing around with using Pogba & Matic in the DM line - Pogba as a SV Attack and Matic as Half Back. Not sure if Matic is an Anchor Man, HB or DLP (D) in Solskjaer's tactic.

 

Originally been playing with them in the normal MC line with Pogba as DLP (S) and Matic as DLP(D). It worked well from a team perspective but Pogba didn't get forward as much as I would have liked.

 

If I knew how to take screenshots, I would take screenshots of my tactic for constructive criticism.

 

Basically its as follows:

 

GK (D)

RB - WB(S)

CB - BPD(D)

CB - BPD(D)

LB - WB(A)

DMCR - HB

DMCL - SV(A) PI Take more risks

AMR - IF (A) - PI - Sit Narrow & Free role

AMC - AM(S) - PI - Take more risks, Shoot more often, GFF, Roam, tackle harder & mark tighter

AML - IF(A) - PI - Shoot more often, Roam, stay wide, close down less & easy off tackles

CF - CF(A) - PI - Mark tighter, tackle harder

Team instructions

In Possession: Pass into space, play out from defence, be more expressive, focus down both flanks, much higher tempo and wide

In Transition: Distribute quickly, counter, counter press

Out of Possession: Defend narrower, Much higher defensive line, much higher line of engagement, more urgent, prevent short GK distribution, get stuck in and tighter marking

What is a better trait for a goalscoring AMC - gets into the opposition area or arrives late into the box?

 

Currently playing as Man Utd with Bruno Fernandes in that role, performances are good but with his stats I think he should be getting more goals so looking at potentially training a new trait

Currently have him AMC as Advanced Playmaker support, isnt pulling up any trees

Rayan Aït-Nouri has signed for City already. Leicester want 65m for Chillwell, dont want to spend that much for a left full

Trying to find an attacking left full to play as an attacking full back or wing  back for Man Utd in the first season.

 

Lost patience with Luke Shaw 3 weeks into preseason.

 

Hoping for someone less well known than Telles but my scouts haven't come up with anything. Ideally an attacking left full under 25 with room to still develop.

 

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

His role alone means little. You need to set up the tactic as a whole properly. I haven't managed Liverpool so far, but I am sure there is a system that can get most out of him as a potential top-scorer.

I would start with the Positive mentality and not too many instructions:

- shorter passing, play out of defence, work ball into box, be more expressive, overlap right

- counter, counter-press

- higher DL, standard LOE, offside trap

Then I would watch the match and make small gradual tweaks if needed.

Why would you use RMD over IF(A)? Just curious as I would always of had Salah down as an IF

1. Looking for a Utd tactic set (something similar to 06-09 team, 442, 4231 (asy), 433) anything similar for FM20?

 

2. Why do you leave off OI in every tactic, I'm sure its an obvious answer that I am missing?

Using any PIs with that or is it just standard inside forward? Using an attack or support duty?

I've been using him in an AML position with inside forward attack role. Start wider (to try isolate the full back), roam from position and shoot more are his PIs.

Got 18 goals in his first season but hoping/think I should be able to get more out of him. 

Martial as an Complete Foward Attack has 35 goals in 40 games for me. Exceptional return from him

Yeah its the lack of being able to get him to shoot often that is the drawback on the advanced playmaker role. Put him on box to box and he didn't seem to get enough touches of the ball to really dictate things.

What role is everyone using Pogba in? I'm using him in and Advance Playmaker Attack role on the left of a midfield 3, team is doing well but he isn't pulling up any trees in terms of individual performances.
